What has recently disappointed you?

I'm still disappointed that Splice is nowhere to be seen in Australian cinemas and that the Elites in Halo: Reach Multiplayer still only get slim pickings or that as a fan of Ashley from Mass Effect I am in a minority and am unlikely to see any DLC or extra content coming my way anytime soon.

Let's see.
-The cancellation of Heroes.
-I went to the comic shop and they didn't have the first or 6th issue of The Boys.
-Dead Space.
-No new news on The Last Guardian as of E3. (Well really E3 in general was kind of disapointing besides a little bit of pleasant news)
-My inability to ask girls out (but I can forgive myself for that, I guess, seeing as the girl I like has a boyfriend)
-Two of my three good friends went off on vacation.
Hmmm... Normally I could go on longer but I'm in a relatively good mood today.

LOL I had the opposite, I went in with super low expectations, so I was actually pleasantly suprised.
Anyway I was dissapointed with the film "proposition"

People. Everytime I give 'em a chance they turn into a self-fulfilling Idiocracy.

Porn, I see it and just think, there goes another pretty girl. Being free about your sexuality is great but chasteness is far more attractive, at least to a guy who's never gotten any. Hence the porn... and the use of the word "hence"

Media, I've gotten so used to all the cliches i've begun to make a game out of pointing out inconsistencies. Like in a movie I'll notice when they used different takes of the same scene from the same angle.
Or games for example: In MGS: Peace Walker, Boss is right handed for cutscenes (generally if you don't switch your camera angle.) But his right eye is the one that got shot out. So in cutscenes he holds the gun up to his right eye to aim down the sights.

I disappoint myself because I'm crap and have low self esteem...

I used to have very low self esteem and still do most the time but its fading away. I found taking up a martial art boosted my confidence. It was miles out my comfort zone but I got used to it.

It may sound a bit pointless and quite a lot of effort but It might help, just my thoughts.

On topic: I'm disappointed that I have to go job hunting, even though I've known that I would have to for ages.

That after a couple of months of playing Warhammer: 40k, I still suck.

Also, playing L4D2 online for the first time the other week, and sucking enough as the infected to get kicked from the match. Bad times.

Modern Warfare 2 was one of my most anticipated sequels of all time and it was horrible in many ways. Plot made no sense. The multiplayer has a horrible spawning and host system and all the best guns of CoD4 had been reduced to piles of shit and out of existance to make room for more piles of shit.

Hurt Locker was something I thought that might have been good, but I couldn't even finish watching the movie because it was so damn boring.
