6 weeks without a cigarette. Loving vaping to bits. Also rediscovered Skyrim with some crazy enbs on my PC.

Aw, man. I remember when I booted it up with my first ENB installed.

OT: It's just a beautiful day outside. I wish I had a camera, 'cos the hedges are in bloom and the blackbirds and robins are lovely.

Probably gonna get the Win&Win AL1 25" Left-Handed Riser for Christmas.

Along with some 34lb limbs and some A/C/C Arrows. That'll help my handicap.

Other than that? Fuck happiness. That's for people whose lives work.

Got my favourite board game 'Star Trek: Fleet Captains' sent over from my home in Portugal, just in time for the new 'Dominion' expansion to come out in a week or so.

After a night without internet, my router is working again! :D

.... Wait a minute...

But yeah, I phoned the company and whined a little, so they're keeping me updated on whatever maintenance is going on in the area now. Hopefully I'll be able to play minecraft tonight without disconnecting constantly >_>

Well, I just came back from a week-long great trip to California. My older cousin graduated from Miami Ad School, which has a branch in San Fransisco, so me, my mom, my grandparents, my grandma's sister, my uncle and aunt and my dad all went there to celebrate. San Fransisco is a really nice city, at least the parts I saw. I just wish I had seen more of it. And that my brother and other cousin could've joined us. And that 24th St Mission wasn't so creepy at night.*

After my cousin's graduation, we rented a car and drove to Los Angeles after the west coast. I gotta say, the West Coast was so beautiful! We stopped at a lot of breath-taking places, and I got lots of good pictures, both with my phone and my digital camera. We stopped for the night at Santa Cruz and Santa Barbara, which were really cozy. (Seriously, the inn at Santa Cruz might just be one of the coziest places I've ever stopped at.) Finally, we ended up at a motel at a good price just by Hollywood Boulevard! It was really cool (If a little bit underwhelming) to see the stars for real. I also ended up bringing home some tasty-looking American snacks. Except for the Cappuchino-flavored Lays chips. I bought them because it was weird. I haven't tried them yet. I will tonight.

I hardly gained any weight while in America (Apparently, Californians are more concerned about that stuff, according to my cousin), which feels great since I lost some when I started the 5-2 diet about 2 months ago. I went down 2 jeans sizes.

I thought I would miss a lot of schoolwork while in CA, but when I got home, I found out that one of the teachers lost his voice, and that I've essentially not missed anything from him. That means I just have to catch up on Thermodynamics and not as much as I thought I would have on Numerical Analysis. And we have no class on Monday or on Wednesday, which gives me even more time to catch up, as well as practicing some music and studying for exams.

Also, I'm turning 20 next Saturday. I look forward to my birthday party, even if the amount of people coming to it makes me a bit nervous.

All in all, I'm quite happy with my life right now.

Seriously, my mom and I arrived in the middle of the night, and the darkness and lack of people combined with the smell of urine made the street give off some seriously bad vibes. It might've just been my sleep deprivation-induced paranoia, though. Then, when we stopped at a corner to look at the address, some random douchebag walked past me and slapped my boob. I know he did it on purpose, because he deliberately held out his hand and he grinned smugly at me afterwards as he went to his car. If I hadn't also been affected with sleep deprivation-induced apathy (I hadn't slept for a whole day. Don't ask me how apathy works with paranoia) and also had no desire to make a scene, I would've socked it to him.

Aside from this, though, nothing else happened.

The Super Smash Bros demo was released to the public today. Gotta git good. Other than that, I seem to be on an upswing from my depression again, so that means by definition I'm in a good mood.

I really need to get back to Minecraft... and it's weird seeing you without a blue username.

This semester for school I ended up getting a job TAing intro chemistry labs. Actually getting the job was about the easiest thing I had ever done, I basically just walked into a guy's office for information and walked out committed to teaching two labs a week. This in itself was great news, but just yesterday I found out how much I was getting paid. And it is way, way more than I deserve for the work I'm doing. After not getting paid very much for every job I've had in the past, it's nice to be getting paid way too much for once.

Well I did get a cheque for about £1800 back from the taxman. That put me in a good mood, that is going to be used to put a dent in my credit card bill as well as a deposit for a new car.

And today, I have scored a day off work because I was out on call most of the night. Mind you, I have spent a large portion of it asleep. I was going to do nothing but play video games today, but I need to go shopping.

I managed to score a volunteer gig at my local zoo working on thee Primates and Small mammal section. It's the first legitimate step I've made towards entering my dream job in years.

- Smash Bros. demo is here. Ooh yeah.
- Hyrule Warriors is almost out.
- I just replayed Ace Attorney 5, and it was still good.
- Had a good night playing poker last night. Won on some really stupid hands.
- Have a lunch meeting with my old supervisor to get advice on my new gig (I'M SO CORRUPT!)
- #Gamergate has started consistently using Breitbart as a source, so now I can stop taking ANY claims about the movement being about ethics seriously.

1) Wasteland 2 is out today
2) Divinity: Original Sin was actually pretty fun though I could do with less "put on bifocals and look for very small switches in maximum resolution" puzzles - just me
3) Did I mention Wasteland 2 was out today?

Hyrule warriors came today. Even though I can't play it because I have to get ready for work, that counts though right?

Other than that I'm drawing a blank.

That I off from work for three days especially when the workday I was in from 8.3p til 6! Needless to say I was quite tired and exhauted from it (I don't worked that long other when it's Christmas).

-I finally got a chance to play volleyball again. It was the first time I played in about six years. Of the two games I played, my team won one and almost came back in the second (we went down early but tied it up near the end). The fact that I played decently despite having not played in six years and having a cold was a plus.
-I did well on my German exam.
-I believe I did well on my programming exam, but that will partially be up to how harsh a grader the professor is. If he gives partial credit, I shouldn't have too many points deducted. Otherwise, I might be in for a rude awakening come Monday, though I do know that I at least got a C even under the harshest grading scale.
-I'm finally able to start playing more games again, but for the most part, I'm still limited to just taking a few minutes to play games on my phone. Occasionally I can break out the 3DS for longer gaming sessions. Still waiting for Thanksgiving to have access to my Xbox and brother's PC again (albeit I'll only have access to them for a few days).

Outside of that, almost constantly listening to music has kept me in a good mood. Now if only I could find some time to have a good night's sleep.
