What have you done this summer?

Designed a house.

Wired the ever-loving fuck out of said house with nearing 7000' of various types of cables (HDMI, coax, CAT6, CAT 5, phone, camera, speaker).

Built an art desk.

Saw several movies.

Created a card game.

Went to school.

Beat Shovel Knight.

Done a lot of cooking. Made steak and mashed potatoes at 5am yesterday...

Watched every episode of QI.

Rewatched all of Avatar:The Last Airbender and have kept up with all of Avatar:The Legend of Korra - Book 3.

I've been working out, playing on my Vita (Conception II, Gravity Rush, Sly Cooper trilogy, Atelier games), been reading all of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (Currently on part 7), joined the Escapist, and been working, and listened to some dolphins. I've been doing all of this on a boat in the Gulf of Mexico, which I'm on for my work.

Worked a lot, worked out a lot and drove around in Sweden a bit. My only real vacation plan is in a week when a friend and I are going to a medieval festival in Gotland(an island in Sweden) for three days. We have a tent, ferry tickets and no plan other than that, so just trying to find some place to sleep will be an adventure!

The games from Steams summer sale has kept me quite busy as well.

Summer is meaningless when you're in your upper 20's and, work a wage that you can almost live off of. Other than soul-crushing labor I haven't been doing much of anything. I've played through Fire Emblem Awakening, Kirby: Triple Deluxe, Mega Man X, Shovel Knight and, up-to 150cc of Mario Kart 8. I helped put brakes onto my Escourt (first time I ever did any car repairs personally) and, read through the Harry Potter series again. I'm trying to play through my backlog of games too but haven't really beaten anything on consoles...except for Star Fox Assault and the aforementioned Shovel Knight. I'm slowly working my way through Super Mario RPG and, just started Golden Sun: Dark Dawn...also trying to muster up the energy to get back into Wario World...stupid Ice level...

I just beat Mega Man 2 on the NES! I've had the Mega Man 2 cart for nearly 2 years now but I haven't been able to make it much farther than the second or third Dr. Wily Stage. Not that I couldn't but I got frustrated time and, time again. Anyway, finally beat it today for the very first time!
