What have YOU done while Duke Nukem forever has been in production

I was in first grade in 1997. In a couple weeks I will be going to college.

Started elementary, graduated highschool, started playing with console, realised pc was far more kickass, though nintendo was magnificent in the time of the loveable 64 and still better than it's competitors on the gamecube (dropped both more times than i can count without bugs on either), beat hundreds of videogames, read to many books to count, realised that no one in my school could hold up an intelligent conversation for more than a couple minutes without using tons of slang and acronyms, played through the half lifes, and am now waiting for episode three which seems to want to beat DNF for time to finish. I'm going to stop there.

Mainly High School, College, University, Masters Degree, learnt to drive got a house and other boring things like that. But I think the most interesting thing I did in that time (for this site anyway) is went from console gamer with the SNES to elite PC gaming master race, to 2-3 year gaming hiatus and finally back to console gamer with the PS2, XBox and 360.

And if DNF is going to be a PC exclusive, I will without a doubt rejoin the ranks of the elite before it comes out!

I was two in April 1997. So I've basically grown up. In fact, all I remember of my life occurred while they were making Duke Nukem Forever. And I've probably done a lot more than they have in producing this game. Gah.

Went from 9 to 21 (22 on the 8th). Went from elementary school to college. Went from pretty healthy to kidney problems, from having my family supporting my sister and I to my sister and I helping my parents. From cassette tapes to MP3 files. Blocky and cartoony graphics to "you think it's real life" graphics.

Started my education around 1997/8
Just finshed my compulsory education 3 months ago

In the time it took to not make Duke Nukem I received my nursery, infantry, primary and secondary school education

In essence my entire life from the age of 2, and I hardly call my first two years a part of my life. Also, thanks for showing me that list OP, it's awesome. Time to go make my friends go 'whoa!'.

Studied for and passed 13 GCSEs
Worked two hellish years in McDonolds.
Studied for and passed three A-levels
Completed the first year of my degree
Experienced about 100 videogames
Developed my entire taste in music
Learnt to play the bass guitar to around grade 5 level
Attended roughly 150 parties/nights out.
Attended 9 Ultimate Frisbee tournaments.

So this game needs to, in some way, be a cumilation of all those experiences to somehow be worth it...maybe...kind of...

I was nine, the year I became a full-fledged gamer. Years later I would kindle an interest in actually making said games. Given the resources I'd probably make games ten times better than the failed expectations it will bring.

had my first kiss, went though primary school, learnt how tolay bass,saxaphone,guitar,an the kazoo ,drive a car ,swim ,use a computer,defend my self and how to pursuade people(16 charisma)
started and finished puberty,got my first job,lost old friends gaind new ones
went on a quest of discovery and discovered who i am,ccompleted ff7 and 8,"watched the end of a century compressed on a tiny screen", and aquired a vinyl collection,
also i climbed a mountain(even though it be a small one)

I've done a lot of stuff in the past 14 years it seems.
