I try to follow the exact same nice guy routine, difference being im still in senior school, and i don own two carsOdd Water said:I live by being a real 'Mr. Nice Guy' you know the ones that get walked over, taken for granted, other guys think of as gay, and girls think of as not good enough.
But hell I own my own home, business, 2 cars, been married for 2 years, I don't drink, smoke, do any drugs, and I play video games a lot. Mr. Nice Guy finish last? HA! My life isn't even done being good.
In other words you are an arrogant bunch who think you are better suited to govern than any majority be it in democratic numbers, scholars and whatever else is thrown at your facist ideals? We think the majority is unfit to govern itself through democracy.
That means we think we are the capable minority.
To be fair, I apologize, your quotes do indicate you mean what you say. It was, and is a joke. The underlying concept of fascism (as you pointed out) is the inability of the masses to choose for themselves. The tone of my post was somewhere along those lines. That is, implying that you were not fit to choose for yourself, and hence, fascist.Demented Teddy said:Why is that?Starke said:Sorry, I find that hard to believe. First, because I'm not convinced at 16 you could articulate them, and would be slightly surprised if you could now.Demented Teddy said:Since the age of 16 I've lived by Fascist ideals.
Again, defining who is, and isn't the majority is the rub. By not voting one would be in the majority (at least in most American elections), unfit to participate in government, hence, supporting fascism. Again, it's a joke, and I apologize if I've offended you, now that I parsed that out.Demented Teddy said:You are incorrect.Starke said:Ironically, refusing to vote would constitute upholding the political tenants of fascism.bobknowsall said:And we're talking proper, dictator-upholding, Social-Darwinism-endorsing fascism here? I live by being honest, doing anything for my best friends and I will go out of my way to help the ocassional desperate stranger.Haseo21 said:(Question is in Subject Title)
My life has been based off protecting my pride. I will never put anything before my pride, not even a girlfriend, because in the end pride is the only thing anyone has left. I do not cry, I do not whine, I do not complain! When something stands in my way, I get rid of it, and when I see a problem...I fucking fix it!
No offence but I find the idea of a fascist Irishman hilarious. Glad it's working out for you tho!Demented Teddy said:We are talking authoritarian, nationalistic, corporatist fascism.

I just go with the flow. I'm very good at improvising on the spot, and it tends to lead to less disappointment.
