Stood in firelight, sweltering. Bloodstain on chest like map of violent new continent. Felt cleansed. Felt dark planet turn under my feet and knew what cats know that makes them scream like babies in night. Looked at sky through smoke heavy with human fat and God was not there. The cold, suffocating dark goes on forever and we are alone. Live our lives, lacking anything better to do. Devise reason later. Born from oblivion; bear children, hell-bound as ourselves, go into oblivion. There is nothing else. Existence is random. Has no pattern save what we imagine after staring at it for too long. No meaning save what we choose to impose. This rudderless world is not shaped by vague metaphysical forces. It is not God who kills the children. Not fate that butchers them or destiny that feeds them to the dogs. It?s us. Only us. Streets stank of fire. The void breathed hard on my heart, turning its illusions to ice, shattering them. Was reborn then, free to scrawl own design on this morally blank world. Was Rorschach. Does that answer your questions, Doctor?

Still trying to devise a reason...

I tend to like things other people don't, so my philosphy is "I won't knock your opinion if you don't knock mine."

"Just wing it"

I just go with the flow. I'm very good at improvising on the spot, and it tends to lead to less disappointment.
Best way to live, ever. It boosts creativity, thinking on the fly, and when you pull something off just by winging it it feels much more rewarding than something planed out.

I don't have a consistant philosophy. Any code I've previously tried to live by, I end up subverting/ignoring anyway. Currently I'm operating under the rule wherein I am not allowed to disagree with someone until I have found for them a source which supports their views (where possible).

My mobile phone. It sounds sad (and it is) but I've had it for going on 6 years - longer than I've been with my girlfriend - and it still bloody works. Seriously, I'm gonna pass this phone on as an inheretance at this rate.

Everything happens for a reason
Don't sweat the small stuff
Treat others how you would want to be treated
Go with the flow

I live my life by keeping everything to myself.

I believe that people (including myself) are selfish assholes who don't want to listen you stupid, stupid life story because it's been done before.

Yes I am comparing people's lives to generic, overused plots, but THAT IS WHAT THEY ARE. We have all met someone who has had parent/parents/family member die and they feel suicidal/depressed. We have all met the over-enthusiastic friend who can't shut the fuck up. We have all met the overcompensating dick-sneeze who tries to act cool for the attention of others. We have all met EVERYONE.

Why try to understand others when you've already met them thousands of times before you knew them?

Are you a Marine Corps Officer?
No, but that's what my goal is. Right now I'm studying the "Marine Officers Guide" and working on my Military History major and probably starting NROTC next semester.
And that's all apart of my plan to retire from the service at some point and help design and develop military/police vehicles and body armor.

The thought that death is more universal than life.. everyone dies, but not everyone lives

I've tried to let that influence the way I live my life
