Maximize happiness, minimize pain, sustain balance.

Consider many things, but don't subscribe to ideology or believe in 'answers'.

The silent listener gains far more than the loud talker.
I just made that up on the spot, but it pretty well covers what I've thought my whole life. I've always been quiet and observant, and occasionally it pays off, as I notice things no one else did.
If that's my code, my goal is simple: Live comfortably.
Nothing major, no plans for changing the world. Just to exist as someone who is content with life.

Thanks for posting that video. It was very informative. There was a lot about fascism I didn't know until I saw that. While I don't entirely agree with fascist ideas, I can understand why others would though.

Fate, honour, loving my country and island (England/Britain) and respect for those who actually deserve respect.
And if that doesnt work out, i can always wing stuff.

I live by in my own words, "God i'm bored." I spend every second of my life trying to kill the time until I die.

Believe it or not an Army training instructor said this to me once at a team leadership day. "It's only cheating if you get caught doing it, otherwise it's just taking the initiative."

Works a lot for me from personal experience. If you're not 'taking this initiative,' you're not THAT desperate to win. ALWAYS find ways to bend reality to your advantage, however small that advantage may be.

Treat others like you'd want to be treated. Even though I didn't always do it consciously.

I was going to say the Pacific Ocean until I actually read the OP...

I have to say, "stand up for what you believe, but do not let what you believe get in the way of what you stand for."

Also, "there are three things in this world that you have been given that are truly unique, truly irreplaceable, and truly yours: Your body, your mind and your spirit. Treat them accordingly."

I live by a mixed code of two parts Kantian morality mixed with a healthy dose of utilitarianism as my reality check. The old addage of "do unto others as you would have done to you" is my motto and creed. More importantly than anything, don't let others influence my behavior in a manner inconsistent with what is just (i.e. if someone is being a creep, do not react to them in kind....it only sinks yourself to their level; conversely, try to be the best you can be, lead by example, etc.)

Sorry, byproduct of a few too many philosophy classes in college....!

I spend my entire life looking undignified. And not giving a shit about it. I'm living this life once, and I'm gonna squeeze every drop of fun I can get out of it. Fuck opinions.

When all else fails, just wing it. If there's one thing I'm really good at, it's jumping straight into a situation half-assed and coming out with really good(better than expected) results.
