Many of us, at one point or another in our lives, wonder about the things we do in life and whether they are really worth the effort. All too often, it's easy to become too focused on something, and lose sight of that which is truly important. And oftentimes, by the time you realize your mistake, it is too late.

Tell me your story

I've lost sight on the fact that people will eventually become intelligent and rational beings capable of thinking for themselves. That isn't going to happen..

I spent some classes in college trying to pass rather than learn. I blame the fact that professors don't care about the student's education, only their grades. And I blame that fact on large classes.

Edit:

YES! You stopped the HK-thing. Now maybe the rest will end, too.

Statement: I wasn't.
Expletive: Shit.

Those who make mistakes blame themselves and close their hearts. It's impossible to fix the mistake; men can't return to the past.

My sanity, for the most part.
I'm pretty sure I left it around here somewhere. If anyone finds it, will you please return it/

I've essentially forgotten how to think negatively. I never take pity on my own life, even though I've encountered what many people would call "hardships" (loss of grandmother, uncle and mother in a two year span, for example) because negative thought doesn't get anyone anywhere. I probably sound like the douchebag that's void to all problems, but seriously, I believe that there are many more people out there that have harder lives that yourself. Maybe we should be trying to help those people instead of wallowing in out own self pity.

Wow. I think that's one of the first times I've expressed an objectionable opinion on the internet. Goodnight.

That's kind of like me too.

I've lost sight on what I truely want, currently. I've got over 4 splendid months of vacation without anything to worry about, but I often find myself feeling bored, frustrated, depressed or uncomfortable. Thing is I have no clue what to do about it, or what to do about what exactly. Maybe I should just go in hibernation for a full month.

Count me as jealous of your attitudes.

I'm starting to loose sight of excitement. It's been a while since I was so excited for my birthday I couldn't sleep, and last year was the first year I ever overslept on Christmas. I didn't really give myself a head start, I don't like big theme park rides and I've never got excited on a release date of something.

I've lost the majority of my childhood.
I'm close to losing faith in humanity.
Several times, I've come close to flushing my self-esteem down the drain and call it quits.

And I'm too damn lazy to do anything about these things.
