I don't really nickname my Pokemon during my first play through of well any Pokemon game, however what I will do is share one of my favorite nicknames.
I named my Dragonite this, in my third play through of leaf green.
My Current team in Pokemon X is.

Tyrantrum
Aegislash ( I noticed you have a Honedge in your team OP when it does evolve let it learn Iron Head at level 45, it will help against those fairy types, it also learns Sacred Sword at level 51.)

I never nickname my pokemon, never ever ever ever.
I can't stand when I see a nicknamed pokemon, those npc trades are the worst and I refuse to do it just because of it.
My friends have been refused trades because the pokemon they were going to trade had nicknames.

Steelix that was traded to me was named Thumper. Quite fitting. Just like Farfetch'd named Quacklin'.
I called my Fennekin Liliana only to find out later that it was a dude. Awkward.

Ive only nicknamed my Snorlax to Tallulah (my cat)
The reason for this was the X pokedex description "It is not satisfied unless it eats over 880 pounds of food every day. When it is done eating, it goes promptly to sleep." and this just fits my Cat perfectly.

Lucario: Rio (I'd like to specify, I caught it as a Riolu at level 6 on Route 22. It annoyed me that I later received (an inferior) Lucario as part of the story. At least it allowed me to give Rio some Lucarionite, though.

Unlike the way I played previous Pokémon games, I've been trying to change it up a bit, and make it a bit more difficult, by getting myself a large, rotating pool of Pokémon, rather than just a static team of six, though I will have to decide who I'm going to take to the Elite Four eventually. As such, I have a lot of Pokémon that I have named, so they will be put in a spoiler box.

I call my Magikarp You Dumb Bastard, as in, 'Oi, get out here and get some EXP, You Dumb Bastard.'
When he evolved, I called him You Beautiful Son of a *****, as in, 'You Beautiful Son of a *****, you just one-shot a trainer's line up solo.'

And lastely, a female Wobbuffet, nicknamed Gertrude, because it looks like it has lipstick and I was joking with someone that this is the grandmother of pokemon.
