Also, although they must have about 1000 games on Steam by now, I hope this serves as a reason for more companies to get older games up on there, once you're set up and your game is ready to be sold, it's pretty much sit back and wait for the cash to roll in.

Of course I don't know how much work it'd take to get a 5 year old game 'Steam' ready, but if it makes £1000 it's probably worth it, especially if you're planning on rebooting a series or making a sequel in the near future.

Broken Sword pack (oh, the nostalgia!)
Ghostbusters
Ghost Master
Galcon Fusion
Shatter
Beat Hazard

I'm especially enjoying Beat Hazard. An eyebleedingly strobelight-tastic space shooter where the effectivity of your weapons is linked to the intensity of the music you have playing in the background? Hell yeah.
Yeah man. I played the demo. Dem colours. Thank god I'm not epileptic
I think the only game that'll make your eyes bleed even more (in a totally awesome way) is "Squid Yes, Not So Octopus: Squid Harder!". The highest possible effects setting in that game actually reads, "My Eyes!"
haha never heard of that but it sounds awesome. I was playing a few dance tracks on the beat hazard then suddenly a bunch of enemy ships spawned just as it hit a slow part. The guns were shooting a little tiny stream, I think thats the first time in ages I actually jumped off my chair at a game. I was like "Hurry up Hurry up! Their going to get me!". Damn I feel like buying it now.
SY,NSO:SH (god, that's a weird abbreviation) is free, just download it from anywhere, crank up the visual and blur effect settings and enjoy.

And I know what you mean... that 'slow part problem' happened to me one or two seconds after the boss alert. I remember yelling, "Don't you fucking do this to me!!!!" xD

I got Left 4 Dead 2, and it's been one of the best games I've bought in a long time. Dead Rain is truly awesome.

Gog.com already does that though. They put up all the older games already. I think Valve is more concerned with getting more new titles onto steam and to get devs to use it instead of their own DRM. I had to go to gog because steam didn't have Freespace 2 but the prices are just as good if not better. In short steam is good for new and slightly older and gog for games as old as you know old stuff

Serious Sam HD Pack
Monkey Island 2 Special Edition Preorder with free Monkey Island 1 Special Edition
Flatout: Ultimate Carnage
and
Shatter

Shatter is pretty fun, nice improvement of classic Breakout Gameplay.

My only complaint so far: I already bought Serious Sam First Encounter HD once, and i did not get an additional copy of the Game with the Pack.
Steam warned me about that before Purchase, and the Pack was still cheaper than buying SS:TSE Standalone, but i still feel a little betrayed...

Yeah I get what you mean. Like being able to gift the copy you already had. The only problems I've been having is with non-steam games. Very few of the disc codes are supported so they wont show up in your profile. I have loads of disc based games and want to show them off D:

Looking back... far too much to list. Enough to be ashamed of and declare I have a problem.

I will note the ones of worth.

Killing Floor.

The others I haven't played enough of yet. Damn, I knew this would be my undoing.

Left 4 Dead 2 and Zeno Clash.

I'll pick up The CoD pack because it has WaW, and it'd be nice to have a digital copy of CoD4.

I also got Deus Ex, though it wasn't part of the Steam Summer Sale.

EDIT: Just picked up Bioshock and Thief: Deadly Shadows

I already own all the good games on Steam (imo. of course), so I used the Steam sale to make my best friend buy some multiplayer games (TF2, Killing Floor, Warhammer), so now we can play together! :D
