I picked up Forza 3 last week after watching Top Gear and being inspired then finding it for 20 euro in the shops. Been playing it a lot since, including a nice 4 hour session today.
Learning about cars is just a difficult job as driving them.
Turns out sticking a massive v12 engine into a Ferrari California then specing out the rest of the car for top performance isn't such a good thing. It looked great on paper, speed was very high, lots of power, I was expecting it to zoom past the competition. So what happens, it wheel spins like crazy off the bat from too much torque, it plows through corners because of the huge force propelling it, and no amount of huge tinkering with the tuning will help at all. Correcting understeer with an engine that size in a car like that, just wasn't happening.
Ah well, fun way to waste 100 grand.
