radiohead is being all mysterious and claiming to be working on their next studio album while giving no indication as to what it is, when to expect it (like hell you'll release by the end of 2010!), and what direction it will take. radiohead! stop baiting my heart!

Attack Attack's guitarist quit, but they're coming to my town next Monday and I'm gonna go see them. Underoath just released a new cd, which is the best cd they have ever released ever. Winds of Plague is writing a new album.

I have heard NOTHING from Faunts since February of last year...:(
I'm beginning to wonder if something has happened to them.

Jimmy Eat World's touring...nowhere near where I live...

Cage the Elephant, obviously, is getting ready to drop a new album.

Everyone else is either quiet, or in the studio. My friends band Kestrels is dropping a new EP soon. http://www.kestrels.ca/ if your interested.

Seriously, if anyone has heard ANYTHING from Faunts over the past six months please tell me. I'm getting impatient and worried...

Gorillaz coming to NZ and hopefully I will see them live! Hyped for the concert even though I might not be able to but fuck yeah because I'm an optimist.

Daft Punk creating the soundtrack for Tron and hopefully making an Alive 2011.

Coldplay probably making a new album so it's all goods.

No idea what Luca Turilli is doing though...

Well, Porcupine Tree made an album last year and went to a tour that lasted over a year (that ended a while ago). Now they're on a break and I've read that they'll be keeping a break for 2011 :(

And Opeth has recently made an awesome live DVD and are writing a new album.

Also, I've gotten interested in Dream Theater again, because their old drummer left. He was a very good drummer at the earlier stages of the band, but he hasn't trained for a long time and his playing has suffered from it (And I'm quite picky about timing). I just hope that the new drummer is good, and that he'll (probably a he) bring new ideas to the band (I haven't liked their recent albums very much).

Sara Lund from Unwound (my favorite band) is now the drummer for the Corin Tucker Band. A buncha Olympia people, doin'... things. Corin Tucker still sounds like a sheep. I dunno. I guess I'm glad she's got reasonably respectable band-work. Obviously I preferred her previous work, but the new thing's not absolutely terrible, just kinda bad. I dunno. I guess we're all getting older.

The young man said "I will never give up"
The inner war I can hold against it
My mind, my mind...My mind's in darkness

The young man says "I will never give in!"
The prophecy Behold It's true
I conquer the flame
To release the insane
I'm crying
I cannot erase
I'm the dragon reborn
and in madness I soon shall prevail
Twice I'll be marked and
Twice I shall live
The heron sets my path And names me true
Twice I'll be marked and
Twice I shall die
My memory's gone But twice I pay the price

<color=black>Wheel of Time
Save my soul
find a way
May it be as the pattern has chosen
Oh, Wheel of Time!
Jesus Christ. I didn't think it'd be done.

I'm taking bets on when movies come out.

What, the song? They've done longer than that, you should hear "And Then There Was Silence."

Or the books? There's one left. It's coming out March 2012. I have a goddamn year and a half to wait.

Personally, I'm wondering when <url=http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/98278-Obsidian-Entertainment-To-Collaborate-on-Wheel-of-Time-Games>Obsidian is going to do something game-related.

Considering the great Ronnie James Dio is dead, I would say that Dio is not up to a whole lot.
They did release the "Dio At Donington UK: Live 1983 & 1987" CD
And just for the sake of posting a youtube clip: He was the founder of one of the most awesome ideas in the history of Hard Rock.

No, I mean the song on the books. Dream theater lasts longer if they want.

Tally Hall's pushed back their new album... again.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sYmwvvzdxKc

-sigh- Soon. Soon.

They also play Smile Like You Mean It, in my opinion, better than The Killers do.

There is a <url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tDkn62o90cc>shorter WoT song, though. For some reason, it took me forever to connect the singer as Ba'alzamon.

I'm taking bets on when movies come out.

It's the latter I'll be most interested in. How would everything work...

That blew my balls off in awesomeness

OT: Good Charlotte, no idea. I think they are touring America with their album Cardiology
Last I heard of Dragonforce they had lost their lead singer
EDIT: I think they have just released a live album but live albums always suck so I won't get it

Jimmy Wahlsteen, no idea but I rally really hope he's writing a new album
Owl City again no clue but I'm hoping for another album too

I don't pay that much attention to the music news though
