What headwear does the Escapist prefer?

i rarely wear hats, sometimes a baseball cap if im gonna spend a lot of time in the sun. Normally its just a pair of sunglasses.

As I troll the Escapist forums, looking for meaningful things to post on, I notice a lot of people referencing their Trilbys and such. And so I wonder, what do all of the people of the Escapist perscribe to fend off head nakedness? Personally, I'm continually torn between my checkered Fedora/Trilby/whatever-the-hell-it's-called, and my baseball cap for a local sports team. The former looks awesome, but the latter actually provides sun protection. So what is it for you all?

I'm proud to say that I wear a trilby (fedora is the American term, trilby is the English term) in a community that also appreciates a good trilby. No other hat can live up to it's sheer power.

Dude, get one. Until today, I had no idea escapists wore trilbies (trilbys? trliby's?) get one and be awesome.

Yeah I own a pinstripe black trilby. Got it from Bayeux last summer, love it to pieces
It's the only hat I have left. Used to have a lush Vans New Era cap but gave it to my mate cos I thought I was getting a bit old for caps, but now I miss it, aww

I rarely wear headwear, but if I do, its either a toque, which will protect me from the cold, or a helmet, which will protect me from the pavement/tree/rock/anything else

I have a black fedora with a braided horse hair band around it that I keep my ZP and ENN pins pinned to.

However, if I'm feeling particularly ridiculous then I will poke 3 holes in a plastic bag (for eyes and mouth) and wear it on my head.
