What if Facebook Bought the Escapist?

I was wondering how everyone would react if the Escapist suddenly announced they were merging with Facebook.

Well, that would mean Themis Media was merging with FB, and at that point I'd have a mental breakdown since that which I hate and that which I love would be merging. That would be like Valve And Activision merging.

What about Activision attaching itself to the money engine of blizzard? Also if bliz and Valve combined they could theoretically make the greatest game ever. Valve's perfect single player with Blizzard's eSport worthy multiplayer? Does this not seem like a good idea?
