So I've noticed a bit of trend this year: people getting all hyped for a game that turns out to be bad. Just look at Brink, Homefront, and (arguable, and most recently) the demo for the new Space Marines game. This isn't an entirely new phenomenon amongst games.
And I was thinking what if games like Skyrim and Saints Row 3 turn out to be just as bad?
(I get that these are coming from trusted and expierenced developers, but still)
To add more fuel to the discusion fire: You can try to justify your hype and try to convince yourself and everyone else that they are going to be good. Or, you can predict you reactions when these games come out and they turn out to be bad (hypothetically, of course)
PS: Please don't quote my OP. I just got through empting my inbox of the 16 "quote" messages that had been sitting in there a while. If you comment, I promise I'll read it, you don't have to fill my inbox, thanks.
