Here not too many years ago stores like GameStop and FYE used to deal in used PC Games but for whatever reason stopped and now they're even beginning to phase out selling PC Games entirely. GameStop went from having them on the walls to moving them to a singular kiosk then to merely an endcap and now they don't even keep them out front any more. They're all stored in the back of the store so you have to ask by name the game you're looking for and then good luck if they even have it. PC Gamers are getting kinda left by the way side by game retailers any more.

Hmm I don?t pirate anyway but if I could return games I would probably end up buying more of them, at higher prices and being more willing to buy things I don?t know if I will like. As it is I very rarely buy games on impulse. I research the shit out of them first (tho still have made many bad purchases *sigh*) because if I buy it and don't like it there isn't much I can do about it. Especially now when so many games get linked to online accounts.
Of course this means the companies that make shit games but have good marketing might take a hit. ; P

Oh, this scenario. Used to be possible with PC games before big-ass lock-ins such as fusing a CD key with a online account ala WoW/B.net 2.0 (B.net 1.0 just required you to make an account for each game and have a verified disc in the drive to play) or any MMORPG nowadays, or systems such as Steam.

Last game I bought and was able to sell on (to a store) without breaking any TOS related to having the key hooked to some damned account was the PC port of the PS2 version of Power Rangers: Super Legends from 2007.
Why did I sell the game you may ask? I wasn't gonna pay out the nose for a multitude of keyboards that inevitably get turned into piles of broken plastic out of frustration at the button-masher turned keyboard-smasher game that was PR:SL, so I saved my sanity and wallet by selling on the fucker. This is one game I wouldn't consider torrenting even if you PAID me to do so! (save yourselves the trouble, try and find the DS version of the game, it's WAY better!)
