I find the problem with it is that it busts your graphics card if its not ready for it. And you need an incredibly computer to play it which not alot of people have.Wadders said:I dunno why I chose 5, it just seemed like a good idea at the time...MikeOfThunder said:*snip*
And yeah Empire is totally worth it, I'd recommended it to anyone who likes the others. Its a huge improvement I reckon; not to say it doesn't have it's faults though.
I assume you mean yes. Burn.pimppeter2 said:I'll assume you mean Dictator/Dictatress
Edit: Umm I guess Europe, blending with the middle east. I'd want America, but then I'd have to have its crappy neighbors. (not that their bad countries (canada) but there just not militarily usefull. SO, Id probably go, Germany, Italy, Greece, Iran, Afgan. Assuming I start from scratch and am able to contol the more non safe countries. Then ofcourse I would invade the cheks(sp) and the turks, dominating the landmass and the mediteranian. I'd prob have an agreement with russia and the Us, then use the Us to attack russia and China, let it do most of the work, and when its done, Attack a weak Us from 5 fronts. A small attack on the New york side, cause that would be heavily guarded. A large attach from the mexican boarder, and a reverse scorched earth policy attack on the Californian and floridian fronts.
Yesm that is a plan for world domination
Try taking it off easy difficultyPurpleLemur said:I don't really like like Empire: Total War. I decided to be different and do the Marath... Marathatha... The Indian folk. I single handedly wiped out Islam and was on my way to wiping out Orthadox Christianity. You know when you turn Afghanistan from 100% Islam to 100% Hinduism you're good.
But I conquered more than 40 regions with basically 4 groups of line infantry and a general to an army. If I was feeling nervous, I'd give them cavalry too. It was blitheringly simple.
Yeah, it does need a Ninja PC, I have to play on low settings in bigger battles because anything higher is just impossible to control your units because it's so slow.Torque669 said:I find the problem with it is that it busts your graphics card if its not ready for it. It did break my mates graphics card after 1 hour of playing it. (I was there when it happened). He now has a new one and it works great and is a fantastic buy but Rome is still the favourite in my opinion.
Buy Empire! Come to the dark sideeeee!LewsTherin said:Hold on, I have to start playing Medieval 2 again.

If we're talking in game. They have a good chance of taking over the continent.
Seems like a good plan, I thank you for deciding to spare the UK because of our Tea making skills, although I'm afraid thats all we have to offerExcelcior said:*snip*
SAS? Hmm, I don't know, I find them a bit... sassy... (No, bad Excel!) But yeah, you're right about the fish and chips. And, if it's anything like the godly ambrosia people say it is, Branston Pickle.Wadders said:Seems like a good plan, I thank you for deciding to spare the UK because of our Tea making skills, although I'm afraid thats all we have to offerExcelcior said:*snip*![]()
Apart from the SAS, and fish and chips.
