five...eh?

1. Britain, well its my home... plus we have a 'nice' history of empire building. Plus awesome strategic placement.

2. Japan, Another island would be usful and got to love the tech.

3. America, world superpower under my control? I think so NICE!

4. China, Powerful country and possible future superpower. Plus large population meaning MASSIVE ARMY... and everyone likes a big army!

5. India, Same reason as above really.

So under my belt of supervilliany... i would have One previous superpower, One current superpower and Two future superpowers... with the technology of the Japanese!

If i had a sixth it would be RUSSIA!!

I want to buy Empire:total war now... damn suppose ive just got to carry on with Rome, till i have the dosh.

I dunno why I chose 5, it just seemed like a good idea at the time...

And yeah Empire is totally worth it, I'd recommended it to anyone who likes the others. Its a huge improvement I reckon; not to say it doesn't have it's faults though.

I find the problem with it is that it busts your graphics card if its not ready for it. And you need an incredibly computer to play it which not alot of people have.

It did break my mates graphics card after 1 hour of playing it. (I was there when it happened). He now has a new one and it works great and is a fantastic buy but Rome is still the favourite in my opinion.

I'd take over Africa and quickly put down all the petty warlords and bandits. Then, utilize that vast wealth of resources to take the continent out of the dark ages. After improving the infrastructure and eliminating poverty, the African Empire would be a world power of the scale of Britain during the Industrial Revolution.

A benevolent dictatorship with an incredible amount of resources. And I think Africa has about 35 regions, so I would only need to take out a few more countries to win.

Hold on, I have to start playing Medieval 2 again.

I'll assume you mean Dictator/Dictatress

Edit: Umm I guess Europe, blending with the middle east. I'd want America, but then I'd have to have its crappy neighbors. (not that their bad countries (canada) but there just not militarily usefull. SO, Id probably go, Germany, Italy, Greece, Iran, Afgan. Assuming I start from scratch and am able to contol the more non safe countries. Then ofcourse I would invade the cheks(sp) and the turks, dominating the landmass and the mediteranian. I'd prob have an agreement with russia and the Us, then use the Us to attack russia and China, let it do most of the work, and when its done, Attack a weak Us from 5 fronts. A small attack on the New york side, cause that would be heavily guarded. A large attach from the mexican boarder, and a reverse scorched earth policy attack on the Californian and floridian fronts.

Yesm that is a plan for world domination
I assume you mean yes. Burn.

I would have England, because I likes it. America, because it's big and powerful. Russia, because its Russia. And I don't really care about the rest.

I'd probably just go

"Hey...I'm an emperor...and you're not...looser...hah...haha...hah..."

Then I'd quit being an emperor because it'd be incredibly boring.

1. China- I'm Chinese so I feel a bond... Pffft. Bull. Because they have a fair lot of troops and nukes that could come in useful.

2. America- They can be my slave nation.

3. Britain- I live in Britain and I just like the place.

4. Spain- Oh their food is gorgeous.

5. ...Russia- NUKESSSSSSS

I would make the Netherlands the capital (cuz it's my homeland) and order everyone to play games and get pwned by me...and all the girls would have to wear miniskirts unless I say they're ugly, then they'd get executed
(warped fantasies of a 16 year old FTW)

I don't really like like Empire: Total War. I decided to be different and do the Marath... Marathatha... The Indian folk. I single handedly wiped out Islam and was on my way to wiping out Orthadox Christianity. You know when you turn Afghanistan from 100% Islam to 100% Hinduism you're good.

But I conquered more than 40 regions with basically 4 groups of line infantry and a general to an army. If I was feeling nervous, I'd give them cavalry too. It was blitheringly simple.
Try taking it off easy difficulty :D

The AI actually starts using armies bigger than 500 people, and it actually becomes a challenge. But whatever, I fucking love it, to each his own.

Yeah, it does need a Ninja PC, I have to play on low settings in bigger battles because anything higher is just impossible to control your units because it's so slow.

My GFX card does leave a lot to be desired though. However, it still looks pretty spectacular on lower send settings.

I've only properly played Shogun and the first Medieval, so I cant really say what I think about Rome :( It was Empire that got me back in to it, and a lot has changed between it and the first 2 games, hence why I love it so much...

You wont regret it, the sea battles alone are worth it :D

Well, first of all I'd change my title from 'emperor' to 'king', sounds way better. As for countries, I'd go for:
[ol]
[li]The US and A - For the technology and stuff. Imagine what would happen if Microsoft wasn't allowed to spread updates out of my realm for a week, or maybe even a day.[/li]
[li]The United Kingdom - They know how to make some decent tea. And they have the best writers.[/li]
[li]Canada,[/li]
[li]Greenland, and[/li]
[li]Iceland - For a: their climate, I hate hot weather, and b: their geographical position. What's the use of a big empire when there's all sorts of countries cluttering the way to from one bit to another?[/li]
[/ol]

To make it a bit easier, I made a map:

See? pretty neat, logistics-wise.

Next step would probably be nuking Mexico, but I'm not completely heartless. I'd let all Mexicans into my kingdom. Well, those who can make decent taco, that is. So, to all Mexicans who can't, you'd better learn to cook.

Also, if I'm breaking any guidelines with that picture, feel free to delete it. I've never used an image before...

If we're talking in game. They have a good chance of taking over the continent.
They do indeed :D

I played my first campaign as them, and conquered up to the French border (I was allies with France) down to Italy and across into western Russia. They also get the coolest units from the new Elite Units of the West DLC :D

Seems like a good plan, I thank you for deciding to spare the UK because of our Tea making skills, although I'm afraid thats all we have to offer :p

Apart from the SAS, and fish and chips.

SAS? Hmm, I don't know, I find them a bit... sassy... (No, bad Excel!) But yeah, you're right about the fish and chips. And, if it's anything like the godly ambrosia people say it is, Branston Pickle.

Damn it, why don't they sell it in the Netherlands...
