On New Vegas:
bugs aside, I like the improvements of Fallout:NV has over Fallout 3. I don't like the perks every 2 levels either, but it adds a bit of strategy/conflict. If F3 had every 2 levels NV had every level, people would complain about making easier. You could blame quest design on bad QA (putting it in the same group as the bugs) depending on what you mean, but so far I can understand that.

I haven't hated a game in ages. I've been disappointed quite a bit and felt meh to some, but I rarely hate a game (though I will hate parts of a game). But the last game I really didn't like despite everyone else loving it.. um... Final Fantasy X maybe.
