Just a funny hypothetical situation
What would your reaction be if you and everyone else in the world simultaneously saw a huge head that was obviously that of a god appear in the sky, and say "I am God and I say atheists have it right!"
I for one would probably go "HA i told y-waita second..."
You?
(been reading here a bit, first post of mine though)

I would yell right back up at that liar that if he's god then atheists are wrong, and he's just being silly trying to fool us. If any atheists or people who require proof of a god AFTER said incident, I would smack them in the head and remind them that god lied to us all. That being said, if a head appeared in the sky and said "I am God." I wouldn't believe it for a second because it would make no sense.

I believe that believing in beliefs is unbelievable. Truthfully we can all muse on what we 'would' do, and when that moment comes, no one will do what they said.

I'd think it was some sort of elaborate hoax... but my voice would be drowned out by the millions of others shreiking in protest.

Did you mean: nihilistic atheist? If so, this attests to my belief that people don't know much about their own religion, including how to spell it. Speaking of how to spell it, the reply thing has a spell checker built in.

Well, after my o_O face finally reverted back to normal, I would immediate gloat to all of my "uber christian" friends. I'd then sit down and contemplate the paradox. In doing so, I'd probably have a blood vessel bust or something and die. Then I'd go to heaven since apparently I was right. At which point I would ask god how the hell people who said he didn't exist got it right, and wait for a response, at which point I would probably die AGAIN and be re-incarnated. The cycle would continue....

EDIT: Welcome to the Escapist

While everyone is distracted, I would run around, grab some ladies, steal some things, break some windows, and finally, Axe-flamethrow a policeman on fire.

Welcome to the Escapist.

What if God appeared to everyone BUT you? You'd wonder what the heck was going on with everyone.

Gods meant to be omnipotent a god thats all powerful and doesn't exist is more impressive then one who does, as God has to be the most perfect being in existence we cant say one that exists is better then one that doesn't. . If we establish that existence is just a quantity not a quality
. God can just be reduced to 0>, so to answer your question there is no paradox and the world would return to normal given a few 1000 years.Oh but Juedo-christian theology would have a hard to staying afloat as well as Aristotle's prime mover supporters. Finally the likely counter argument is its an Alien.

I would say "Someone call Fox Fox McCloud!"
..and then of course do a barrel roll.
