Accuracy International L115A .338 Calibre sniper rifle with 3/4 mile range. Sniper Rifle of choice for the SAS
The Lapua Magnum cartridge destroys whatever you deceide to throw at it. My hunting rifle is in .338 Lapua. A Sako TRG, basically the same as the L115A, exepit the tactical version is lighter.

AK47, hands down.
Bah, you fools still can't get a grasp of the better weapon; the F-88 AUSteyr.

It has all the attributes of the AK-47 (light weight, doesn't seisze up during battle, can be subject to any weather and terrain including the ocean etc.) and its got better accuracy and firepower.

They kick so much ass that the most kick ass Military group (the Australian Defence Force) uses them.

This and the AA12.

Infinitely useful, legal in all states.
You do know that the "greese gun" was a gun used by U.S. paratroopers in WW11

That was a great gun, but my favorite will have to go to the Tavor (aka Tar 21)

Its accurate to grat ranges, has good stopping power, bulpup so it is much smaller, and has a built in sight for all models.

AUG or the XM8 or maybe the AK47, or if it was to be a handgun then i would choose the 454. Revolver.

That is...The coolest thing... I have seen for a while. Thank you Ansem.
I must admit that I was in shock when I saw 1,000,000 rounds per minutes shot at the end.

After the P90 all you need now is the FN Five-seveN(yes the N is how its suppost to be) http://img338.imageshack.us/i/np90qk0.jpg/#q=five%20seveN%20p90
it's the sidearm that was designed to go alongside the P90 they were designed for the sole purpose of penetrating new body armor the P90 came out back when there was still an east berlin but the pistol came out in 2000. The P90 is not a SMG as believed but a PDW(personal defence weapon) they also both use the kickass 5.7x28mm ss190 cartridge(i have never seen a more awesome looking bullet.)
http://www.fsdip.com/website/Portals/0/Munitie/57Tbustkoppen1.JPG
guaranteed to penetrate at 300 meters!

the Five-seveN is available here, as for the P90 the closest you'll get is the stupid P90S which is ridiculous looking

I'd go with the Tavor TAR-21.

A barrel nearly as long as the M16's, but the bullpup design ensures easier use in CQB and while moving. Lightweight, modern, and it can accept STANAG (M16-style) magazines, so getting accesories and such wouldn't be difficult.

Of course, if I wanted to get my hands on the next generation of rifles, I'd look up the Steyr ACR [http://world.guns.ru/assault/as56-e.htm].

The Five-Seven probably isn't actually illegal if you're in the States. But, I've always been under the impression that it only existed to allow FN to classify the P90 as an SMG.

EDIT: to put something in perspective, if you're firing airsoft BBs, the rounds its firing are actually larger than the Five-Seven's rounds.
The Five-Seven is perfectly legal in most states. However, there was some debate as to whether or not to allow them to be sold in the U.S. because they were/are too good at what they do - piercing things... Armored things.

I just use mine for targets. It's a PERFECT target pistol. It fires a small, fast round that is EXTREMELY accurate. The only problem that I have had with mine is that I knocked the front sight a little loose by trying to fit it into a universal holster that wasn't. I intend to carry it when I get my CCW permit, but it's not 100% perfect for that due to the problem of over-penetration. The hollow points help, but they are not a gurantee. Besides, I don't even know if I will be able to find a holster for it... The front sight is extra tall to accomodate a suppressor if so desired.
I'd be very wary of carrying one because of the penetration issue, and also because of the potential for not much stoppage. Also, I think, hollow points are illegal in some jurisdictions, so you're probably better off with a USP .45 or a SIG 220 for personal defense. The .45's got a lot of stoppage with less risk of over penetration. Though the only thing that'd even approach the Five-Seven's capacity is the UCP, which is probably pretty similar to the Five-Seven in other respects. Still for a target pistol it does sound like ridiculous fun.

GD-10 perfect for killing Nod insurgents lol

But in all seriousness, probably an RPD. Nothing like a wave of suppressive fire to start the day.

I have taken those points into consideration. I do have my reservations about carrying it, and that's why my first choice is this:

While not the perfect pistol, it fires a .45, is fairly reliable if properly maintained, is cheap (since it would be confiscated if I ever had to use it), and has a 10+1 capacity. It's not exactly a USP, but it works for a CCW weapon. It's also accurate enough for a close range fight.

For all of those who said the AK47, apparently there is a gun out there that was made by a russian brand that, liek the Ak47 does not jam, but is about half the price and more accurate. The name escapes me tho.

I would have to say the modified M4, because it jams less and is versatile.

The only problem I've ever had with a Taurus was an M9 knockoff and had more to do with the problems I always have with the cutaway barrel. (The thing destroyed a pair of Armani sunglasses. (That'll learn me).

Sounds like a horrifying experience if it destroyed a pair of sunglasses. I would enjoy hearing the tail, but that would be something for a PM rather than this thread.
