Censor.

Because censorship is absolute crap, no matter what you do someone will be offended, and if you manage to not offend anyone you probably have cut away everything interesting.

Ironic, because at least half the people I've come across online or in real-life have used this word wrong.

Closely followed by Random, since people who describe themselves as such almost immediately provoke an exasperated sigh from me.

Captcha: Who are you

Odd, as soon as I finished typing my post iTunes (have it set to shuffle) started playing The Who's "Who Are You?" in the background. Not only has Captcha grown aware and precognitive, it's become snarky too!

"Republican"

It just has so many negative things that go along with it so I avoid the word when I can.
Really? You know that the word "Republican" just means someone that supports the idea of a Republic. Its not defined in the dictionary as the US political party.

Mine would have to be "guys", just because every one uses it as a form of address for a mixed group of males and females. The proper address is "Ladies and Gentlemen"!

Most people would go with "****" or various racial slurs. I'm personally fine with using them as long as they're not used with actual malice. If, for instance, I'm singing along to Bring the Pain, I'll sing the line "niggas get tossed to the side" without a second thought, but I would absolutely never even consider calling someone that.

As for word I actually do find offensive, I'd go with "egghead" or, if we're including hyphenated phrases, "know-it-all," both of which are used pretty much exclusively by anti-intellectual assholes who need a quick way to dismiss people who are smarter than them.
