What indie games are you guys enjoying ?

Mine are -

Running with rifles - The most fun indie game I have played till now . It's a top-down tactical shooter with open-world RPG elements. You take part in massive battles with huge maps . You will die a lot in this game until you get better which you will by the end . Super fun .

Risk Of Rain - Risk of Rain is an action platformer with roguelike elements. With permanent death as a primary feature . Its an infuriatingly challenging rogue like action platformer with multiple character classes and plenty of items. Amazing soundtrack. Bloody hard too .

Nuclear Throne - Nuclear Throne is a game about mutants fighting their way through a post-apocalyptic world. The radioactive waste in the world allows mutants to get ahead by mutating new limbs on the fly, the abundant availability of powerful weaponry make the quest to become ruler of the Wasteland one frought with peril.

Crypt of the NecroDancer - Its either dance or die . Rules to live by generally, but particularly in this delectable fusion of roguelike and accessible rhythm action .

Toribash - Toribash is an innovative turn-based fighting game where you?re able to design your own moves. It is a martial arts simulator . The game has full body dismemberment . You can move your character by controlling joints on their body. Each of them can have 4 different states, number of possible moves is almost endless, which makes fights unique . A great game if you ask me .

Any game counts as long as you think its indie....

Currently playing Five Nights at Freddy's. It is a pretty intense game, but I must confess that I am not really sucked into the fandom all that much, I am only really playing it because my brother said that he liked it so I thought I should give it a go.

Apotheon, it's basically Castlevania meets God of War done in a beautiful Greek pottery art style.

Just some Darkest Dungeon, and maybe War Thunder, if you count that.

For those that haven't been blessed with the knowledge of Darkest Dungeon: It is an early access (that deserves it and isn't broken. Shock horror, right?) roguelike that is a turn based dungeon crawler in which your party of four must complete quests to earn gold and buy better gear and abilities etc, but the selling point is that your party members get stressed as they fight, and may also become insane/paranoid/etc if they are not treated properly. It also boasts a brilliant art style, and surprisingly fun combat (although a little RNG sometimes).

As for War Thunder, it is a F2P World War 2 plane and tank (and soon to be warship) battleground. I mostly just play with the planes though; the tanks are okay, but they are still very much in development (You can only play as America, Russia or Germany), and you cant to a backflip in a tank, sooooooo Planes 2 - Tanks 0.

The Banner Saga - playing this through for the second time at the moment.

Last Dream - learned about this one from Extra Credits (James Recommends) and I should be starting it immediately after Banner Saga (so tomorrow most likely). As I understand it's an excellent current day throwback to the glory days of FF6 (FF3 for SNES). Really looking forward to checking it out.

I bought this game after watching some of it played on youtube and I had a LOT more fun watching others play it.

The game definitely succeeds at stressing you out when you are at the helm but the actual enjoyment of a video game and replay value just isn't there. According to steam I've played 34 minutes of the title and that's probably all I'll ever play of it.

It's a great gaming experience that's memorable and will stick with you...but I have no reason to want to play it or finish it.

I've been playing Spelunky a lot. It had been sitting unplayed in my GOG library for over a year, I heard good things about it, so I thought to myself, why not actually play it? And it's rather addictive.

Next on my hit list is Sunless Sea.

I just got Apotheon from PS+. Have yet to install it, but it looks like it could be quite fun. Unique art style and interesting premise.

I also play Rouge Legacy at least once a week. Such an amazing game.

I currently have an ongoing save file of Game Dev Tycoon. Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of time to put into games right now, but I still try to get back to finish up that game at least once a week.

I recently discovered Terrordrome, a completely free fan-made fighting game starring horror movie icons. For a free fighting game the mechanics are damn robust, looks fantastic and has a great roster of characters:

Other than that, I have been playing Binding of Isaac: Rebirth on and off, though recently stopped for a bit after getting plagued by that damn save delete bug. I see Darkest Dungeon is out on Steam, when I have some money I'm gonna playm the crap out of that.

I'm probably done playing it now, though. I, uh...finished the game. Yes, finished. That's the word.

Other than that, haven't been playing many. I might pick Binding of Isaac: Rebirth up again sometime.

Gratuitous Space Battle 2 - sequel to the excellent GSB. Still in Beta, but looking nice. Some balancing work and bug squashing to do. You can pick up the original on Steam with all the race packs and campaign mode.

I have started playing Elegy For A Dead World. It is basically a game that lets you write stories which I feel has helped me quite a bit with my writing. I have also logged 300 hours each into both Crusader Kings II and Mount and Blade: Warband.

I've had a look at Darkest Dungeon and I'm liking what I'm seeing, but I've got too many games on the go at the moment to give it much time, tbh. The indie games I am playing though, are:

Enemy - A squad based roguelike inspired by the old-school XCOM games done in a voxel based engine with deformable terrain. It's currently in late beta, and should be publicly available on Steam in the next few months.

Timber and Stone - A city building game with an emphasis on survival. You start with 8 villagers and a random amount of supplies with the goal of building a successful city. Periodically you will need to defend your settlement from all manner of enemies as well as trade with the outside world to obtain the items you cannot create yourself. It's currently at version 1.62.

I'd been playing Shovel Knight, but took a break to play Dark Souls. I wanted to relax with something that wasn't quite so difficult.

Discovered NEO scavenger yesterday, it feels unique for being a post-apocalyptic survival/scavenging/crafting game without any zombies. (Or at least, haven't encountered any thus far.)
Hex- and turn-based movement/gameplay.
