What Invention can you NOT wait for?

Assuming technology jumps in a few years, what can't you wait to be able to do? It could be as simple as a hoverboard (Damn you Marty McFly) or complicated like a tie-fixer (who started ties I swear I want to kill them).

Personally I'm waiting for a mop that has special filters on the fibers so you can squeeze the drink you spilled back into your cup and drink it. The infomercial would suck though, but a robot Vince offer will make it worthwhile.

It could potentially mess up our future, maybe it would work like this:

You go back in time but you are like a ghost. You are watching a movie of the past, the only use would be to see what went on, you can't influence it in any way. And if you were in what used to be a canyon, then you have no noclip(?) out.

Oh. Well that's less exciting, then. Though, I have seen a paint mine--it's something some of my friends cooked up. It's impromptu, only works every once in a while, and you have to hit it to get it to work, but it shoots out like 15 paintballs in a circle-spray pattern. Fun to watch, but still impractical anywhere but private shennanigan matches.

Like a claymore? It wouldn't be hard to set it up to a (expensive) laser device that activates when the sensor is blocked.

But that's the problem--the word expensive. We're fiddly college students who know a bit of mechanics, some engineering, and have a limited supply fund. Besides, we just throw them into big groups from in trees. We have three prototype mines, all of which are buggy as hell, but are fun every now and again.
