I'd love a hand-held portal device - that's for sure.
Virtual Reality isn't too far away, either. There are the large metal domes you can get in and operate within, so running and walking are more realistic (especially if you're un-fit)... though real (simulated) combat like paint ball or IR Skirmish will do the same thing, though it's more social (with drinks afterwards).
I'd also like to see a form of birth control that is acceptable to the worlds religions - to help stem the population.

I think I'd like to see efficient fusion power. Or maybe space-based solar power. We could have more energy than we know what to do with. Although I have some ideas, and most of them involve a Tesla death ray. *sly cackle*
Laser beam tooth brush. Say goodbye to that boring 2 minutes in front of the sink, with minimum effectiveness. This invention will laser all the plaque off your teeth and everything else bad from your mouth, all within a second.

Contact lenses or glasses or whatever which which you can access the internet on the go.
