What IP should Telltale make into a game next?

I would like them to do an adaption of "The Darkness".

With "The Wolf Among Us", they are already working on one DC Comics series, so why not "The Darkness?"

"The Darkness 2" had a cel-shaded style which meshes with Telltale's own style, which was very eye-catching.

"The Darkness" has the story and the characters to make an interesting narrative tale.

Should they do this, I would also recommend keeping Brian Bloom as Jackie Estacado, as well as the actor who voiced Johnny Powell, as they both do a terrific job with the characters.

I might also recommend the comics series "Powers". It's about two homicide detectives, Christian Walker and Deena Pilgrim, who live in a world filled with superheroes and villains. Often, they are left cleaning up the dead bodies left in the wake of super-powered violence. It's a nice perspective shift from the more traditional comic styles.

I'm digging the whole "private investigator" vibe I get from "The Wolf Among Us", and I feel that "Powers" can offer a similar experience. Also, this is a series that has been teased with a potential television adaption, but with no real results. With "The Walking Dead" one of the highest-praised shows on television, and "Fables" nearly a television show and now a future film, it seems like "Powers" could be the next big "thing".

The idea of them doing a Star Wars game was floating around recently, that may enter the halls of one of the few decent Star Wars games out there.
A focus on story and characters, not just "pew pew, lasers!"

I know either are practically impossible, but... Sandman or Transmetropolitan.
Excellent choices. I'm not sure Transmetropolitan would fit into an adventure game framework very well, but I'd love to see them try. It is a particular favorite of mine.

I'd also like to see them that a swing at Y: The Last Man.

Did someone mention Saga already? Because that would be amazing as well.

Dresden Files. Yeah, my Avatar shows I'm not exactly unbiased in this regard, but I really do think that the urban fantasy IP would lend itself rather well to their storytelling format. Granted, the Wolf Among Us is kinda there thematically, but one can always hope...

Godzilla. I'm partly kidding but the Godzilla films often lacked the human element and when they tried, it often was asinine and got in the way of the monster action (I'm looking at you G '98). Perhaps it could be a monster of the week type deal.

I am against any ideas about Watchmen stuff, and I refuse to check out the New Watchmen comics, or the two games that came out (The End is Nigh), but I would love a Watchmen game by Telltale that was a point and Click adventure game. It could be beautiful, and that would be the only thing Watchmen related besides the movie I would check out. Cast somebody not Jackie Earle Haley though, because as Much as I loved his performance, I wouldn't want to listen to Rorschach narrating in that voice for five episodes, just choose a different voice actor and I would love it.

Archer would be kind of cool, too.
I think a Serenity game would be cool, too. I would dig Playing with Malcolm Reynolds and the gang if the Script was penned by the right hands and it was a point and Click game. That would be awesome.

Damn you beat me to it. I think it would work really well.

Well if I cannot have Dresden files as my pick then I would go with Hellblazer. After seeing the epic job they did with Bigby I would love to see what they do with John Constantine.

Or maybe the nightside series by Simon.R.Green. The Nightside is a secret dark world at the heart of London where it is always 3AM, a place where dreams come true and nightmares come alive. Where one can buy anything, often at the price of your soul or someone else's. Where the music never stops and the fun never ends. The nigghtside contains everything from aliens to wizards to time traverlers to people from other dimensions. Basicly everything that is weird either lives their or visits there. It follows a PI called John Taylor who has the abillity to find anything be it an object, a person or the answer to a question and it almost always ends badly, for everyone else.
