The title is sort of self explanitory. What things happen when you are gaming that right and truly piss you off? For me, it's a toss up between two things...1) When my hands get sweaty from gripping the controller and 2) when my mother interrupts me (and only me, never anyone else) every ten minutes to do completely assinine chores.

So let's hear it, people of the Escapist...What ticks you off while gaming?

Playing online on Xbox Live, because roughly 65% of the people online are 8-12 years old and are ALL playing the 16+ and 18 games

Most of them play Halo 3 though. If you play Call of Duty there are far less, and they're not as annoying.

On-topic, I don't like the people who glitch the games.

Most certainly agreed. It's guaranteed to happen just as I'm getting immersed in the game.

My friend, play CoD5 online, especially hardcore. They LOVE team killing, especially if theyre host.

I'm not sure what your trying to say. Are you saying that your friends are little 8-12 kids?

Besides, people who team kill are a minority. I'm level 5 prestige and can count the games where team killing took place on three hands.

Or two hands and one foot if you're not a Fallout mutant.

I think he's referring to you when he said 'my friend'.

Ah, I reread and saw that your right. Now I feel stupid.

But my point still stands.

People interrupting me when I'm in the middle of an involving task. I try to keep my irritation to a minimum when it's a legitimate interruption, though.

Right on the money, here.

Also, interruptions by family or parents, or people who team kill, glitch, won't stop insulting teammates, et cetera.

Oh yeah I forgot about that

I hate it when people want me to pause in the middle of an Online game just to do some small task

God, I get so pissed when I'm playing on Live and my family yells at me to come out of my room for something stupid. I don't bother them when they're watching their stupid little soap's...

The frustration caused by a power outage is hard to contain. Especially when the power goes out right when you're about to beat a final boss.

Which happened to me last week.

Americans ages 10-16, that ALL sound exactly the same, and insist on calling me 'dude', or accuse me of 'stealing their kill', when they haven't even touched 'their kill'... Most prominent in Halo 3 and CoD 4.

Life always seems to get in the way when I'm in an intense gaming session, and is rather irritating. I get into it then all of a sudden I have to go to class or work or my friends want to go out. :/

Mums walks infront of the screen for like 5 minutes.

AND, when a game makes you play the same mission over and over again, just because it can.
