with my gamertag (g3n3r4l WTF) i get a lot of abuse from young american kids. its hard to focus on the game when you've got a little retard shouting "WTF, dude, WTF" into your headset. and also, this happens on Halo 3. I'm a lieutenant and theyre like "hey shouldnt it be lieutenant WTF", I just feel like saying "I made this gamertag for the fun of it, I wasn't thinking of Halo". I also hate gamertags like "sniper headshot 123"

The mind numbing boredom that will come to be when I return to my house, knowing that the modem had been removed from the building from the house, thus eliminating my LIVE, causing me to be stuck by myself in the world of Tamriel for several months.

Oh wait. That hasn't happened yet.

Probably God-awful cameras. The wriggly bastards.

Where the hell do you people live so that power cuts are common? Iraq? I think its happened to me once in about 2 years.

Im annoyed by people who quit early when losing and/or glitch. Also whats with Americans always mentioning bad teeth? You do realise that in England we have the NHS and you can actually afford to see the dentist? I've probably been to the dentist more often than 3 Americans put together... and thats just check ups.

People who use their mic (too often they are screaming little kids, even in 18+ games), and people who don't use their mic (it's really hard to win team games when noone communicates).

People who have their mic up close to their mouth so you hear every damn little noise they make, and subsequently people who don't stop talking. I for one, like to hear the enemy coming if I am in a game like CoD.

A Rock Band specific one would be people who drop out in the middle of songs. I do know it is uncontrollable sometimes, but I know of people who do this if they don't like a song, and more often it is that than anything.

When people tell me what to do while I'm playing. Even little stuff.
'Go in that room, no, the one to your left.'
'SHUT UP I'LL GO WHERE I WANT!'
Yeah it's a little ridiculous but it drives me nuts. :p

Or when people decide that while I'm trying to watch cutscene it's an awesome time to have a loud phone conversation, like right next to me... Ughhh. :eye twitch:

If anyone here ever played Recon on Battlefield: Bad Company, you will know what I'm talking about.

I HATE those little fuckers that, no matter what, want you to play YOUR GAME, THEIR WAY. This is especially true when it comes to the Recon class. Time and time again I've been teamkilled because some little brat didn't like the fact that I wasn't in the action and that he had to sprint for about 10 seconds. If my class was ment for being all up in the enemy's grill, I would have a fucking ASSAULT RIFLE, not a SNIPER RIFLE.

I also hate when people jump on their menstrual cycle about camping. Am I supposed to sit back and LET you capture the objective or kill me? If you can't take my camping ass out, then shut the fuck up and play Viva pinata.

2) when my mother interrupts me (and only me, never anyone else) every ten minutes to do completely assinine chores.
Most certainly agreed. It's guaranteed to happen just as I'm getting immersed in the game.
Same here, except she actually does it to bug me. She has admitted this to me. Also, "backseat gaming", as la-le-lu-li-lo mentioned, ticks me off, but to a lesser extent, only because usually the person talking knows more about the game than me (lucky me on that one).

Playing L4D and getting teamed up with at least one person who doesn't know what they're doing, but some jackass on the team keeps voting against a kick, so I'm stuck with the shithead.

People on Xbox Live, who put MLG somewhere in the name, thinking they're all cool, when they aren't actually in MLG. EX. xXxMLGxSNIPERxXx, which is actually 8 year old who likes to yell curse words.

Oh yeah, this happened to me on Halo 3.

He had a negative K/D spread, and the lowest score in the game, which was about 3, whilst I had about 19

I never said it happened often, but it has happened a few times recently because we've had a ton of thunderstorms in my area.

I personally think that a power outage right when you're about to save all of your progress is far worse then before you beat a final boss.
