What irritates you the most while you are gaming?

* 20 minutes laster, just as I'm in the middle of a boss battle/PvP match. *
Parent - "Oh wait, you put a shelf in backwards, and when I tried to fix it, the whole thing fell apart. Come fix it!"


That happens way too much in my house.

I always say when I finish what I'm doing but she has a fit and yells at me saying that I never do anything. We're not going to die if the dishwasher isn't emptied RIGHT NOW and the dog isn't going to die if she isn't fed within the next 20 seconds.
Annoying.

what is it with all the frickin' 12 year-olds thinking they are really-super-badass-awesome-coolguys cause they can grief. NOT ONE PERSON THINKS YOU ARE COOL! i was once forced to spend an entire match on Well in tf2 keeping out spawn gate open so this punk wouldn't jump up and stop it from opening all the way and the entire time he says "you're such a douchebag! why are you doing that?" to keep you from ruining everyone else's time thats why.

also on a similar note, all the little kids that think they are awesome at the game because they can sit in a corner for 45 minutes so they can glitch through a wall 12 seconds before the end of a match.

The single most annoying thing is having a fly in the room constantly landing on you, and you just cant seem to kill the fucker.. THAT is annoying..

Also beeing spawn killed several times in a row gets to me..

Most of them play Halo 3 though. If you play Call of Duty there are far less, and they're not as annoying.

On-topic, I don't like the people who glitch the games.

Honestly I don't know what epople seem to have against Halo 3. I'm an avid player of it and its quite rare that I find anyone below the age of 15 (which is a mature enough age). It just seems that a select group of people hate it for no reason other than "it sucks because its popular". However, im talking about the present, there probably were a load of 10 years olds playing a year or two ago. And i guess it depends of the playlist you go on really. I guess there is quite of few underage gamers over on the social side of things.

Moments when you get killed in an atrociously long and difficult boss battle (presumably after almost beating the guy) and then having to sit through overly long loading times and an unskippable cut scene preceding the boss battle you're more than likely to get your ass handed to you in again. I think Yahtzee called it the 'Lengthen-gameplay-raise-blood-pressure' button.

When Xbox LIVE refuses to work. It was great for two years and then about a month back I just started randomly disconnecting. Its weird because my normal internet is flawless but half the time when I play LIVE it kicks me out and kills the connection. I don't even lag when it does work but when it doesn't want me to play it DOES NOT want me to play. Even more annoying when all my friends are on and it starts having a fit.

The only thing that gets on my nerves when I'm playing a game, or really when I am trying to relax is when someone comes into my gaming space/bubble and starts to talk. When the gaming light is on, and I do have one in the shape of a Mario lamp, I am not to be bothered...
