Fanboy: A person who prefers a console or game to the extent of being unwilling to accept reasonable criticism of said console/game and will defend said console/game to their dying breath.

A corollary is the culture fanboy, specifically the Japanese fanboy, also known as "weeaboo." Their core belief is that Japan is the best culture in the entire world and they can do no wrong. China and Korea are "fake Japanese", and Japan never did anything reprehensible like the Rape of Nanking or the Bataan Death Marches...those are blown way out of proportion in history books and the books were probably written by Koreans anyway.


The scary thing is, I know multiple people like this.
