Gotta go with "Threshold" from Scott Pilgrim:

And here's the better-sounding, monster-less version:

Not a fan of Pendulum and The Prodigy are only alright to me, but together awesome and make amazing fighting music.

OT: For a flash animation of two robots fighting eachother, it's really surprsing that nobody has recommended this:

This is pretty good. I have to say that this is the top contender so far.

(I like the Karate kid music too, but I don't think it would fit.)

Come to think of it BlazBlue's "Rebelion" would be a pretty good fit for this.

It sounds kind of whimsical for a fight, but it'd be really cool for snowboarding, or a Sonic the Hedgehog level, or Sonic the Hedgehog Snowboarding.

I'd suggest something more serious, like this:

<iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/udM1wOuEtoU" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen>

Okay, so much for "embed", I'll just give an address instead then.

I'm not really sure what kind of fight you're going for. so here are a few chosen at random.

try youtube= and then whatever string of letters and numbers that come after the = in a youtube link. so with the one you posted it would be udM1wOuEtoU or youtube=udM1wOuEtoU (with [] brackets)

An okay epic;

Kind of the first answer you'd expect because it's from Street Fighter.

Well, since everybody is mentioning Blazblue, you should also listen to themes from it's predecessor Guilty Gear:

Gotta go with the classics man. It's a song about not overstepping your bounds and f*cking with me set to a smooth beat.

"Yeah, come on and check yo self before you wreck yo self. Cause shotgun bullets are bad for your health." Words of wisdom right there.

Of course, Mad World also had its fair share of good battle tracks as well (not to mention a great pair of announcers to liven up the many ways one man can beat another man up with a golf club or baseball bat).

And here's a personal favorite, a fast paced jazzy tune more suitable for a quick fight whereas the other two were for a more slower paced one.

There's a good half-dozen Prodigy songs that would make good fight music. But personally, I'd go for 'Break Stuff' by Limp Bizkit, it's old, but it get's the point across :D.

Any character theme from BlazBlue.
Props to you for mentioning Blazblue.

Anyway, while I hate FFXIII, this remix of Blinded By Light from Dissida is IMO the best battle music I've ever heard.

Not only have I been beaten to Blazblue but also Guilty Gear ninjas...damn. Well if its about 2 robots fighting then I suggest Battery Size AA from God Hand http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8fvcXz5wW6U (I don't know how to put vids in my post). This song has some nice techno sounds but still carries strength as a fight song.

For some reason, while playing mechwarrior online, pandora kept giving me the soundtrack for Requiem for a dream.

It worked really well because generally I lived long enough for the fast-paced frenetic portions, followed by sad sounding string music while I watched the rest of my team get hunted down and murdered (which if you're playing pugs in MWO is the case every time. Also I'm a terrible player).

Should have a nice dramatic range that would otherwise be missed by miscellaneous techno or *shudder* nu-metal.
