What is a 'pet peeve' of yours?

'Text speak' on MSN and the like.

Can you SERIOUSLY not be bothered to write 'ha ha' or 'that's funny' instead of 'lol'??? I don't know why, but it just irks me.
I understand that there are restrictions to the amount of characters you can type in a text message, so it's only when people are perfectly capable of forming a properly worded sentence with out the ridiculous abbreviations but choose not to that get's me mad.

I work at a cafe. I know.

My pet peeve is customers who treat you like crap because you work in the hospitality industry. I am worth just as much as any other person, even if I do have a low paying job. In fact, I deliberately chose the job for the extra time and freedom it would give me. So don't go looking down on me just because I happen to be serving you, ok?

Clutter. I can't stand unorganized piles of random stuff all over the place that looks as though it should be gathering flies.

Dirty dishes. I dislike it very much when someone just leaves a pile of dirty dishes on the counter, rather than just unloading or reloading the dishwasher.

Obstreperous people in quiet places. While I believe you should be any way you like, being particularly vocal in a quiet place whilst simultaneously being discourteous to the people in your surroundings without a care just irks me.

Unwashed hands. I don't mind if you go outside, run around and have a good time, come in and don't wash your hands right away but, please for the love of the gods wash your hands after taking out the trash or using the bathroom.

Otherwise, folds. I hate it when I pull a paper out of a folder to see a small crease in the corner.
