What is fiction?

Some of you guys are missing the point. He doesn't mean the LITERAL definition of fiction, but rather is saying that almost all fictional protagonists are selfless, which would be fiction without any powers or adventures.

Basically a bleak outlook on people saying that nobody is truly as selfless as a fictional hero, with or without superpowers or adventure.

Yes, that is exactly what I mean. Despite how cold that may seem, I think it's interesting or would be interesting if somebody did something with this concept.
