I enjoy the fact that you're bringing up numerical ratings from some highly questionable reviews as if that will somehow convince me That One Thing You Like is good. I can point you to a wide variety of rave Twilight reviews of similar journalistic integrity to sources that are factored into Metacritic scores, but that won't make Twilight good by commonly held standards by which books are judged.
I was merely using your own definition of "subjective" (which, to quote: "That doesn't mean that one thing you like isn't, according to commonly accepted standards by which fiction is weighed, terrible."). You are the one who took a shot saying that I was hiding behind the "It's my opinion shield".

Well, color me embarrassed, I misread what you said (I'm keeping my original text up there to show you what I thought you meant). I thought you were saying "Commonly accepted standard" as in, what the community thinks. So now that I see that, I can see why throwing in all the numbers and ratings was kind of a waste of time...oops.

Anyways, I'm not going to argue the meaning of the word subjective. I've given my case; I'm not changing my opinion on Bioware and I'm not going to be changing yours either on this one.

So are you saying that true objective judgment doesn't exist?
No, true objective judgement does exist.

Does the game work?
Are there game-breaking bugs (or even a lot of little bugs that ruin the experience)?
Is there variety? (even that's a bit subjective as to "how much is enough")

ANYTHING referring to how fun it is or how much enjoyment you get out of it is subjective (which all three of your arguments were based on this factor).

Just like it's my subjective opinion that Bioware is still a great company and the shots I took against the other "Fan favored three" are reasons that I don't like those companies as much (not hate, just like Blizzard, Obsidian, and Valve less than I could)
Ok. Then I'm going to dismiss your 'vocal minority' argument as a subjective judgement.

Then I guess I should have added "Objective things can be proven". You can dismiss my "subjective" argument all you as want but you can take a look at my "numbers post (#77)" above (Yah! That's post is no longer a waste of time since I misread Kahunaburger's argument). I'm certain it demonstrates that the majority of gamers still enjoy Bioware games (therefore, vocal minority is yelling about it).

If you just want to dismiss my opinion or dismiss it as "The Sheep of the gaming world" who are loving Bioware, go right ahead. I'll go have fun with my Bioware games while you sit there being happy about how you were right.
