love is when you care about someone more then yourself, when you want to help them no mater what, when you see them, you become happy, despite the day you have been having, when your with them, you dont think about anything else.
At least thats my form of love, its different for everyone.

Love is an attraction to something or someone. But for the purpose of me being lazy, I'm only going to explain the someone version.
Love is a combination of several emotions. Importantly it involves a physical attraction to someone. But there's also an emotional one. People can love others due to survival instincts making people care for their family members, because the loved ones are friends and make you happy, or because you need a companion and the loved one fills that emotional niche.
Is it bad? No.

Love is a biochemical reaction designed to make sure that our genes get passed on, and to ensure the continuation of the human race.
However, that doesn't mean that it can't be special and meaningful to the people who experience it. You might not have guessed from the above sentence, but I'm actually quite a romantic (at least I think so). Ultimately though, it's something that needs to be experienced to be understood.
