A computer, a external hard drive, my cellphone, a copy of Plutarch's Moralia, a nalgene that could double as a petri dish (I should probably clean it...), and (most importantly) my rock collection:

A Silurian age schist, a Devonian gneiss, a cretaceous sandstone, a Cambrian granite, a turbidite, a piece of basalt from the Cascade, and (my personal favorite) a flawless quartz crystal the size of my hand!

Right Shelf: My antique collection of D&D 3.5e books. I don't use em anymore, I just like the way they look. Shelf below that: the minis I use weekly for games (characters, reoccurring npcs)
Left Shelf: My somewhat smaller collection of D&D 4e books, a couple paper maps, and one of several notebooks scattered around. Shelf above the books: assorted fantasy statues (dragons, wizards, animals, dragons, and dragons.)
Shelf above monitor: Dragons, dragons, some more dragons, a couple dragons, a pencil sharpener, and a few more dragons.
I like dragons.

On my computer table, I have (obviously) my computer, my wallet, a few pencils and erasers and lead strewn about, and my cup, which is usually filled with water.
I have another table to my left which has my other computer (strictly speaking, the one I'm using is the family computer that nobody else uses; my personal computer doesn't have internet access at the moment), drawing equipment (charcoals, pastels, a triangle, and obviously my sketchpad) several books (works by Nietzsche, Plato, Voltaire, and Jung from the Viking Portable Library, as well as a copy of V For Vendetta), and random school papers.
There's also an unused chair that I put things on, though the only constant there is a phone that doesn't call anybody, but makes for an excellent alarm clock.

I have a bookshelf with about 100-150 movies(they are scattered about sometimes and I can't be bothered to count), another bookshelf I made in shop with a bunch of fantasy/sci-fi books(with a handful or alternate history and history books), and a gun cabinet I made(also in shop) filled with 13 guns and ammo.

Oh and on another shelf along the wall I have some tech readouts books for Battletech, a couple things I made in ceramics back in high school, my CDs, and a couple manga series.

edit: I wish my room was big enough for a desk...

edit 2: And everything has a protective coating of dust.

The remaining shelves consist of the following:

Sphere, Congo, Jurassic Park, The Lost World, Next, MYST: The Book of Atrus, MYST: The Book of D'ni, The Hobbit, The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, The Return of the King, Eragon, Eldest, Brisingr, Death Note volumes 10 and 11, D.N.Angel volumes 1 and 2, On Writing by Stephen King, Warcraft 3 strategy guides, The Zombie Survival Guide, The War of The Worlds, Fahrenheit 451, I Robot, Watchmen, 1984, 2001, 2010, 2061, 3001, A Study in Scarlet/The Hound of The Baskervilles, Dune Messiah, Children of Dune, God Emperor of Dune, Chapterhouse: Dune, Ender's Game and Speaker for the Dead.

A good 90% of those books came from Goodwill or similar places, and most of them are in amazingly good condition regardless of that fact.

Still looking for Heretics of Dune. (Checked out Dune one from the library, so really no need to buy it.)

My shelves are full of games, books, and movies. As for my desk... it's a mess. I wouldn't know where to begin.

Next to it is Daft Punk's Human After All,Alive 2007 and usually Discovery. Gorillaz' Demon Days and usually Plastic Beach. Next to those is a White Tiger soft toy cub, a Kangaroo keycahin, a Kakashi Keychain, a Birthday card, three Blood Angels Space Marines with no base, a Green Buddhist statue, a Dolphin plaque thing, a Badminton trophy, a Rednose and some more stuff. I have two bookcases, which I guess will count as my 'shelves.' The first, smaller bookcase has 100+ manga volumes stacked to full capacity. The bottom shelf is filled with a couple years' worth of Shonen Jump and high school yearbooks. On top of this bookcase is a WoW box I got for Christmas one year. Never really got into it. Aside from that, there are some Bionicles and a few Square Enix Play Arts (Roxas, Vincent Valentine and Sephiroth).

The second, larger bookcase is home to my proper novels. The bottom shelf is where I keep some quite-old gaming magazines, strategy guides, my DVDs and loads of old papers I drew on in school.

Finally, my dresser, which I use exclusively as a shelf. It has my lamp, alarm clock/iPod dock, everything I carry with me throughout the day, a couple cans of Pepsi MAX, some random clutter and three plushies (a penguin chick, an adult penguin and Kirby).

Let's see now. My Desk has my Mega Man Gigamix and FMA manga on it; my two Chris Nolan Batman movies (in BluRay, BOOYAH!); Both Arkham games; some school and homework supplies; a rubik's cube; my calculator; and MP3. Under it is my small Lego collection.

My Drawer has my game collection, bags, receipts, and all; socks; my old Yugioh cards; my EXTREMELY rare Pokemon gen. 3 book guide, fuck yes by the way; my NES; a random t-shirt I haven't got around to using; and my Mega Man rule 34 por- err, I mean important school papers. Shut up.

About 60 or so xbox games, 40+ CD's, all of the Harry Potter films in blue-ray (<3 those movies), every season of House,Bones, and Lie To Me, Anthem by Ayn Rand, The Fountain Head by Ayn Rand, The Cather In The Rye, A Prayer For Owen Meany, and The Music Lesson.
I think that's just about it, wait no, forgot about WoW... One step in my room, and I think people can tell it's geekville.

That's all pretty much on a couple shelves and a bookcase. My computer desk is mess though. It pretty much has all the things I've used recently on it.

Shelf- Dragonlance Novels alongside about 30ish Goosebumps books I 'inherited.' Atop the shelf is a pile of gamecube games I really need to get to play

Desk- computer and other misc. items dragon skull, usb controller for ROM play, canned air, etc. (on the computer are several games I really need to get to play)

Table- a sh*tton of glued and standing puzzles I've done alongside a pile of Wii games I really need to get to play.

Floor- Wii, ps2, misc. clothes, a pile of ps2 games I really need to get to play.

So.... I guess I am really waiting for winter break from college so I can plow through games... oh lets be honest I'm probably going to feast and drink my self retarded and beat maybe 20% of my haul.

edit: HEY! who took my spot next to McDonald's?! That was MY wi-fi!

A ton of books, mostly classical literature and manga, video games, and a lot of figurines.

It kinda makes cleaning a pain in the ass since most of my figurines are gundam models I've made and trying to get the dust off of them sucks and takes me forever.

Oh! I also have a stuffed grey wolf that a friend of mine gave me for my birthday, it sits there looking so regal.
