My desk is messy with all sorts of stuff over it. My LCD TV sits there with my amp, a dvd played, a couple of external hard drives. A bunch of PS2 and PC games on the desks shelfs. The front 3 speakers are on top of the desk at the back.

Then on my book shelf. I have a shelf dedicated to displaying Final Fantasy games. A couple of shelfs have all my anime dvds on them with what's left of my ps2 games that couldn't fit on my desk sitting at the end of my 2nd anime shelf.
The bottom shelf has all my boxes (well not all. just all that could fit) for anime figurines and gundam models etc. the rest of my anime figures are stacked on top of the bookshelf along with my Gundam Board Game that I made.
Another shelf has my normal dvds sitting on it.
Another shelf after that has the Clannad Visual Novel (the anime uses the same songs) Soundtrack with some PS1 and PSP games.

Then there is my display case with all my anime figures and gundam models in.

Then my bedside table has some books and watches, remote controls etc sitting on it.

I almost never throw anything out. My desk is covered in books, homework, games and DVDs, various folders with music in them, and just...general trash. My book shelf contains more books. The floorspace next to my bed has even more books. My bedside table, again, is stacked high with books. The other cupboard I have holds the rest of my videogames. My dresser has even more books tucked under the mirror. The floorspace in the centre of my room is covered in clothing.

I have books everywhere, come to think of it.

Shelves:
- One with PC games, some SE's, DVD box sets (just two) and some Blu Ray movies.
- One with console games (PS3, GC and 360), some SE's, and a cup from the local gaming club when I won their Zombie Dice championship.
- One two meter shelf filled entirely with books and comics.
- One with some books and plenty of drawing and printing paper.

Desk:
Too much crap really. Computer peripherals, a Cylon figurine, the box of the Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood SE that contains my drawing stuff, lots of paperwork I have to sort out, some sketch books, etc etc.

Floor:
Mostly empty, just a bin and some presentation folders I have to prop up against a wall.

Quite a bit of stuff. I have 4 shelves and they are organised like this: Below the shelves are a couple of boxes of random stuff (old toys, bits and pieces); First shelf up has my DVDs and Blu Rays, Second shelf has my paperback books; third shelf has my hardback and large books (those that are too tall for my other shelf), and my Lightsaber and Bottlecap pile; and top shelf is random keepsakes such as a Geode, piece of the Birlin wall, statue of a dragon, pirate pistol, etc.

Also on my shelves are a signed picture of the actor Christopher Judge (who played Teal'c in Stargate), and a picture of the ThatGuyWithTheGlasses.com crew.

On my Desk I have my Monitor, mouse, keyboard, gameboard, speakers, and a selection of gaming related candy tins and a set of Green Lantern rings.

Also on the windowsill next to my desk is my Stargate coaster, and Minecraft tissue box.

On my desk, there's a car battery, the DLC slips out of the Batman: Arkham City Collector's Edition, a few Simpsons figures and a green guitar pick. My shelf houses a shitload of physical PC games (yes, they exist), and the box from my Radeon 5770 Hawk (it looks to epic to throw away), as well as the Bioshock 2 collector's edition. Which, by the way, has the best art book EVAR

SOOOOO MAAAANNY...

...uh... toys? My friend collects ...figures... but he insists I call them toys. So um... nice toy collection? Whatever you call 'em.

Must be awkward to get to those DVDs behind the left hand sets, though :p

btw, thanks for having the same monitor as mine so I could properly squint-scale the ones around your screen :3

I like how you group anime DVDs in a separate category from the other DVDs.
Heh... I do that too, except I segregate out TV series, anime, movies and non-fiction.

OT: Uh... lots of sci-fi/fantasy literature, manga, CDs, some of my DVDs, military history books.

My desk (a rather small one) is occupied almost entirely by two monitors and my speakers. My xHDD's sit on the tower next to the desk.

Yeh i call them figures. They are not meant to be played with so i don't recognise them as toys.
Yeah it's really awkward to get those PSP and xbox games, but most of that stuff is just archive so i rarely need them.

My desk? Oh, dear. Let's see:
PC, tv, Xbox360, PS2, coffee machine, water boiler, PSP, cologne, coffee, instant coffee, pens, pencils, stapler, perforator, MP3 player, batteries, deodorant, soap, shampoo, aftershave, many cd's, Xbox360 and PS2 games, spare light bulb, phone, pills, Q tips, digital voice recorder, printer, about 10 books (mostly stacked on my printer), three botebooks, wood glue, pocket watch, multivitamins, Weetabix, a newspaper, laptop and lots of mail.

I should mention that my desk is:
1. Pretty big for a desk.
2. A fine example of Jenga applied to real life.

Let's not even talk about my 3 bookcases, 4 closets and piles of books on the floor (3 bookcases aren't enough).

From descending order of my shelves/desk...

My secret money stash.
2 TaeKwon Do trophies I earned about a month ago, cod liver oil tablets, cotton buds.
A PSP, a DS, chargers for both (although I have no games for them), baby wipes, a stapler (but no staples) a box of medicine, some financial papers, a small-ish book on programming for beginners ("Python Programming" by Zelle).
2 (baseball) caps, an almost empty can of deoderant, an A4 copybook, a giant Calculus book ("Early Trancedentials" by Stewart), a hand blender, a lamp, my laptop.

I had a potted plant as well but it died last week. I was thinking of getting some little figurines and such to liven up the area in its place.

My shelve-
Top- Mostly my ponies (MLP:FiM) papercrafts and game figures like Sora (Wisdom form) from Kingdom Heart and Legend of Zelda.
The draw underneath- Chewing gums, hair hair and other small scraps I can fit into it (it's small).
The last there spaces- Mostly just books, packaging, folders and other related paper junks.

Also at the top of my drawers are my Gundam model collections, my Wii remotes and Nun-chucks and the TV remotes.
