As much as some may say "porn is bad for you", it's actually down to moderation. Like chocolate, it's not exactly healthy for you and having it for breakfast lunch and tea everyday will cause some serious problems. That's going overboard with it. However if you have it in moderation at a rate of once every two days, or once every two weeks, it's just not going to harm you and can still be pleasurable and enjoyable. When you take a piece, have your tongue gently lick the smooth area. Put it into your and let it melt on your tongue. You swallow it, as it goes down your throat, giving you... erm.... you know. Eating chocolate.

I've seen 50 shades of grey on the big screen (because my GF had to see it ) and I literally fell asleep. Just a hyped cashcow movie. For me, porn is the hardcore stuff that you find on pornhub, theporndude [http://theporndude.com/], youporn, etc

Just a couple of things I'd like to note for this thread;

1 - DoA does in fact have a plot. It servers mainly just to be vehicle for the CGI cutscenes of ninjas, explosions and boobs. It also in DoA5 is used to teach you how to play the game - like a super interactive tutorial.

2: DoA isn't porn - ecchi, yes. But not porn. Unless the beach is now considered porn.

3: People seem to forget that DoAX and DoAX2, despite relying on the boobs are actually considered the two best volleyball games made, even compared to the simulations.

OT: Well, there isn't much sex in DOA, is there? I mean, the women are sexy, but is the act of sex part of the game? I don't really consider women in skimpy clothing porn, because if we did, wouldn't visiting a beach be classified as "porn in real life" because some of the women there wear bikinis and some of the men wear speedos?

I don't know. For me, porn has kinda been defined as "Two people having sex depicted in a way so that people can get off to it". So in that area, FSoG could fall into that category for me. But that might just be too simplifying. I haven't really encountered that much porn aside from some lightly hentai Touhou doujinshi (As in, it was...kinda tame) and occasional peeks into the KnowYourMeme hentai quotes gallery, so I might have the completely wrong idea. I mean, could Game Of Thrones be classified as porn due to all the sex they're having if somebody masturbates to it?

I think it all comes down to the purpose of the sex, because depicting the act can have more purposes other than "This is hot".

As for whether it's good or bad...um, neither? Porn is a medium. There are many different types of porn, I'm willing to bet. Some which have these "unrealistic standards" that people harp on about, and some that don't. It all comes down to the depiction and the person watching it. For me, at least.

Porn is a product of society. In Saudi Arabia the Victoria's Secret catalog would be hardcore porn. In the USA it seems if a girl shows boob or butt it may very well be porn. Hell to people with fetishes pictures of non sexual body parts can be porn. There are good and bad sides to porn, it may have put some "freaky" ideas in my head that I'd be better off without, but it also provides a tool for exploring your sexuality. I read someone bring up "do I like legs because porn, or do I like the porn with legs because I liked them before" and I wonder this about when people watch some crazy shit.

Haven't had sex in about 10 months so it's been porn for me, I much prefer sex and feel sexy sex provides better and more realistic fantasies. But until we find a better alternative for singles to fap to, porn will win. How do some of you not watch porn? Just imagine a scenario? I damn sure don't see how someone manages to not get off in some way.

Also I don't think DOA is porn, not sure about 50 shades. I know it bores me.

To elaborate, it doesn't really have a set definition and probably never will.

Porn can really just be boiled down to a medium that can be/is arousing. Doesn't necessarily need be sexual, but it does need to be very dedicated and exaggerated.

For example, The dollet communications tower in FF8 there's a ridiculous FMV of a satellite dish being constructed

Lol I oddly feel like a politician here, defending myself from some out of context feeling statement from way back when. I could go back and look but I'm gonna try this the old fashioned way. I think in the context what I meant was that he was saying things that were largely inoffensive and made sense, and that informed my original question. He is a joke but enough porn will make you feel sufficiently bad about yourself.
