When ever I hear about 4chan its always the same thing. 4chan is bad. They never go into detail about why it sucks. So I ask you, is 4chan a place I should avoid?

The /b/ board of 4chan is basicly about mischief and fun at the expense of others. This has earned them a negative reputation. The board is also not very friendly towards new users due to the established culture, which means most threads will contain graphic images depicting sex or violence.

So yeah, avoid /b/ (misc) and don't click on porn boards unless you want to see what's in there and you should be fine.

Funny story, the first time I ever went on 4chan I went to /b/.

The first thread was a rate my penis thread.
Second one was a child porn thread.
Third one was a gore thread.
Fourth one was a guro porn thread.
Firth was a gay thread.
Sixth thread was a funny thread.


Yeah there can be some funny shit, but I would rather not see the first 5.

I dwell in some other boards, but they were fucking boring. I stopped being a browser of 4chan a while ago.
