Oh, I do know of a time some of my friends did some awesome tolling (separate occasions). One of the radio stations in our area does love songs in the evenings and they let people call in and request songs. If you set up something with the station you can be a live caller on the air.
One of my friends requested "Never gonna give you up" He didn't even have a girlfriend at the time.
Another one of my friends had a very interesting story. He was going to request a song for his girlfriend of the time. He was going to request their favorite song. After he got set up to be on their air and the time he would call he found she cheated on him. We were with him when he found out and he was upset for a while, but then he said he was okay. I found out he had called up the stations like he was planned to and did the typical thing of "I want to dedicate this song to my girlfriend (first name) (last name) from the city of _____ because this is the song I think of when I think of her." (normally they don't ask for last name, but he said it anyway apparently) or something like that. The DJ asked, "And what song would that be?" My friend said, "Freak a Leek by Petey Pablo."
