I liked the intro to Brutal Legend. I never thought i'd hate a character played by Richard S. Horitz, but goddamn, he made that character annoying.

Bioshock's intro to Rapture is just surreal. FFVIII has a good opening as well. They take training fights really seriously, don't they? And Dissidia's opening. Squall gets to face off with Sephiroth. Badass.

Medieval: Total War was my favorite game back in middle/high school, and that opening cutscene was just kickass in every sense of the word. Of course, that's about as high-end as PC gaming got for me, now Elder Scrolls for the 360 is the most medieval I can get at the moment.

Don't talk about quality (hey, they're old), but they were awesome.
And of course all the cinematics in Warcraft III were superb.

I remember being so disappointed when I was a kid at the fact that your horses don't actually run by Trebuchets and cut the ropes.

My favorite cinematic has to be the end scene in MGS3, with Snake at the graveyard

It may not be much by todays standards, but when it first came out, wow... gave me wood.

I'll admit it: I loved the scene in the radio room in Gears 2.
Honestly, I played that level at least five times just to see that rant.

A more recent find is in Saints Row 2, during a funeral.
Johnny Gat was even cooler after seeing that scene.

Same here, that scene made me love Cole Train furevur.

Halo 3: ODST, where they guys take dow a Brute Chieftain. Pretty Bad-ass.

MGS4, where it's either Raiden fighting, Vamp fighting, or Raiden and Vamp fighting. Impossible stuff, but still awesome.
