OT: Cars, boats/ships, trains, buses, and airplanes. These vehicles make the world go round and they are a defining feature of modern times; they were a HUGE change.

but for me language has to be the best invention

we use it for everything, even deaf people or mute people use sign language. Without it human civilization wouldn't exist, it also gave us a base structure for our various alphabets we have in our world which naturally led to the written word, which has allowed us as humans to build on the accomplishments of past generations, which lead to both TV and Sliced Bread without Language we would probably still be a hunter gatherer species.
