Okay so there are two gatekeepers near the start of Mystical Ninja: Starring Goemon who open a gate to the next area for progression once you unlock the door that is magically locked by the first boss.
First gatekeeper - "We're just gatekeepers, so we'll stand here till you beat the game, pretty painful really."
Second Gatekeper - "There should be a 'starring gatekeeper' game, so we could do more!"
Those aren't the exact words bear with me it was years ago.

I'll go with "Seems like my advice had no effect. Suffer like G did?" from House of the Dead 2 (the first level's boss, which is a small zombie humanoid bat, says that before the fight starts as a reference to G, who's an agent from the organization your characters work for, being injured before the game starts). It sounds like he's asking a question due to the awful voice acting and the boss never gives any sort of advice (unless you count "I've already taken care of G. This is only the begining. You're next." To a pair of random zombies: "Get them" as advice).

Movie wise, the oft quoted Evil Dead is unsurpassed. "Die she *****!"
