If a picture is worth a thousand words than a movie scene without words must be on par with an ancient epic. So now I ask what is the best movie moment you can think of that didn't have any actors talking at all.

PS: I also know that the first thing that comes to mind would be a fight scene though it would be more interesting if you could think of something not involving two or more people trying to put each other in the ground.

That one scene from Up. You know the one. The one that almost/did make you cry.
I see your Up, and raise you one Toy Story 3.

Get on your oven mitts, kids!

I'll raise you Toy Story 3 with Wall-E.

Poor Wall-E...

As has been mentioned already, Up. Or indeed any of the Pixar moments without a script.
Well, most of them anyway.

Truly conveys the beauty of animation.

When Mr. Blonde dances to "stuck in the middle with you"...
And then again when Mr. Orange blows his brains out.

Though I did watch Reservoir Dogs. All of it except the first scene you mentioned.

The train to Swamp Bottom from Spirited Away. Either that, or the scene in Vertigo where Scotty is following Madeline to the Golden Gate Bridge.

Well, you could always go for another choice. Oh, and just so I can add another, the swimming pool scene from Let the Right One In. Also, when Oskar goes home and closes all his car doors. You know, fuck it, every scene in that movie that doesn't have dialogue. Except the cat bit. That.. Kinda sucked.
The cat scene was pretty horrid. Those damn cats....I mean....could they have not afforded better CGI?
Oh and have you seen Let Me In yet?

And just so I can add one myself....the first few scenes of Thirst were pretty awesome.

This by far. Really no other competition.

Matrix lobby scene. And then the one in the second one where they walk on the ceiling but less so. The Dark Knight scene when Morgan Freeman shuts down the cellphone thingy.

I'm sorry, I'm going to have to cop out and go for a fight scene. Namely, the final fight scene in V for Vendetta when V takes on an entire squad of cops in slow-motion with vapor trails on his knives.

Yeah, the cat thing sucked. They should have cut it entirely. It was brief though, so it didn't spoil the movie.

I haven't seen Let Me In yet, because it doesn't come out until the 29th over here. I was watching the most recent trailer though, and it kinda seems like they're signposting everything, which the original completely didn't, so my hopes aren't too high. I just heard the lines 'I need blood.. To live' and 'He's not my father' and I was like '..Ugh'

Anyway, I shall add another one. Last twenty minutes of [REC]. OMFGWTF.
True and in Let Me In, they did the smart thing and cut that scene.

The trailers make it look like something it isn't. The movie itself stays very true to Let The Right One in. The trailers for it make it look like a mainstream action packed, cheap scare filled piece of shit but in actuality, they just did that for more box office draw. The movie itself only changes a few things. For the most part, it's the same as the original only much darker (visually darker, I mean, not emotionally) and there aren't any supporting characters or stories. When it comes out over there, I'd say it's at least worth a viewing. Plus, it only made about 5 million USD on it's opening weekend, so fortunately, it hasn't become mainstream :p

And fucking hell, why did you have to remind me of that scene? I couldn't sleep for a fucking week after that. >>
