What is the biggest cop out you've heard or read.

I think "because I said so" is a huge cop-out. I can understand it's use on little kids who constantly say "why" but other then that it's basically telling who you're talking to"I can't think of a legitimate reason to back up my argument or command."

I think "Click" was a pretty big offender of that, I suppose that it was an easy way to get out of a really sad ending but it was one of the few movies that made me cry. If it ended with Adam Sandler dying it would be temporarily hated but then taken very seriously later when you realize that the message is "You never get a second chance and all your decisions are concrete when you make them"
