Personally, the glitchiest game I've ever played is GhostBusters for the PS2. The game was just one big glitch. Characters vanishing, bad AI, freezing, clipping errors.... it sucked.

Oblivion

I needed 3 user-made mods to get the game to run on its supported settings which were higher than the recommended settings. Seriously, when I need mods to get the game to actually someone didn't do their job right.

some old nes game, it was a top down shooter and you were a chopper but they messed up when they made it so the 3rd lvl just repeated forever

Advent Rising hands down. It was HORRIBLY glitched for a major release game. But, at the same time, I loved that game and I wish they would either remake it or make the sequals. It was sort of like a early Mass Effect.

Fallout 3's Game of the Year Edition.

It was so buggy and so bad that it would crash or freeze if more than 3 people were on screen.

Bull. Fucking. Shit.

I guess it'd have to be PsychoNauts.
I love the game to death, and all the glitches are excusable, but it really is.

OUCH.

Hmmm....

MAG, there are some really cheesy bugs, like being able to repair a door from the above floor...

Obi-Wan for the Xbox. It was a launch title and there were so many bugs I'd swear they skipped the QA process to make the platform launch. A shame because the game had potential (at the time) but the bugs held it back.

Or if you mean a recent game, I'd agree with the person who said Mercenaries 2. That game was a lot of fun, but for every good thing in the game there was a glitch to hold it back. Another month in developement and it could have been a AAA title. Instead it's just minor league and for most people it was forgettable.

Oblivion by far. I had one situation in the Dark Brotherhood Safehouse. At one point, one member actually attacked another, killing them. It wasn't a scripted event or anything!!

iTunes whenever I try to upload Salvation Through Destruction (I spent at least two hours today trying to get that god damn album onto my iPod. Ended up getting a ridiculous amount of crap that I don't want on it instead).

To be a bit more serious, I thing the buggiest game I've played was Mass Effect. I still love it to death though.

A bit off topic, the iPod thing is still giving me a load of problems, and I'm close to ripping out my hair. Can anyone help me there?

I'd say Fallout 3, but in a good way. Most glitches in that game are more strange or funny than harmful, eg the flying Deathclaw. That's not to say the game didn't have some bad problems, though. Sometimes the screen glitches up if I look a certain direction.

Lol, I must have played Fallout 3 around 60 times and it didn't crashed more than 5 times all around.

Anyways I'll stick with Alpha Protocol. controls go insane, takes hours to load things, sometimes enemies insta spot you sometimes you can just go around killing every1 and is never spotted...

I'm assuming the people saying Oblivion and Fallout 3 played them on the computer, because I've played both on xbox 360 and PS3 and never had any of these issues. Except for in Fallout 3 when it started raining Death Claws, but I was more interesting and entertained them angry. But I'd say Alpha Protocol or Mercenaries 2, that had some weird glitches.

Mine are between Fallout 3 and Oblivion for the PS3. Both the games will freeze randomly at times so I always have to save, but I often get glitches that make the game a little more challenging or that make me laugh. For example in Fallout 3 I had to fight an enclave soldier right as I got out of Vault 101 and suddenly he disappeared and dropped his laser rifle. Another glitch that wasn't as much fun was in Oblivion when I was doing a mission for the Fighter's Guild where it required me to kill someone. Normally I would kill them and nothing would happen, but when I killed one of them it counted as murder and I didn't get a bounty but i was contacted by the Dark Brotherhood.
