That's not true. Some sports are awesome. Like extreme fishing, where the fish are actually Great White Sharks.
BMX - the track racing kind, not the freestyle kind.
The races only go for about 45 seconds but they're about as action packed as you can get. I love the every man for himself in the finals too. Once you're in the finals, wherever you place in that race is whatever place you take home. Some serious nail biting moments.
If my sport hating, sun loathing, anti-social husband can watch it for 3 days straight while I'm competing, it can't be too bad (and I'm obviously biased towards it).

American Football is my favorite. It is the ultimate team sport. In basketball, baseball, and other team sports, there is usually one star player that no matter where he/she goes, they will still be great. but in american football one person cannot stand out without a decent team. Say what you want, it is just my opinion.
The best sport on planet earth is setting up internet forums like this one and watching people flaming each other because they disagree. Fanboy wrestling, you can't beat it.
Extreme nightclubbing!. I mean come on, the hours of preparation you spend in the line. The physical endurance of holding the alcohol in, the stamina on the dance floor, strategic thinking in order to get to the bar and maneuvering around obstacles. Critical thinking in epileptic lighting conditions, supporting other team members.
