the new Jak and daxter game. played all the prequels obsessively when i was younger so want to finish the story.

as it's only on ps2 (don't like psp) no shop stocks it and the internet is useless as everyone is charging £30+ for it. I might want it but for that price i'd rather buy a current gen game.

Yea, I've been checking ebay for quite a long time and I'm just to cheap to give that much for a game, even one as awesome as Tombi is. But yea, it's weird that it isn't released on PSN, just judging from ebay alone and those outrageous prices there, it should sell atleast moderately well. I also believe there have been numerous petitions and such for it, but no luck so far.

Other than that, PSN is pretty awesome, they've got some pretty good classics on there.

I can't really think of that many games, that I've had such a hard time tracking down, Tombi, in this day and age have really been the hardest by far to get. Most other games I have wanted, I've been able to find on ebay.
Well that's something that would probably annoy me, I still own a lot of my old ps1 games and if I have to pay for them again so I can play them again

Hmm is there a difference because I remember there was a difference between the UK version and North American version in the names. Are you American by any chance?
Nah, European, more specifically Danish guy here :)

But yes, there are, from time to time a difference between European and American PSN, which is weird and annoying. And to further annoy people, there is also a difference between Japanese PSN and the other two.

I'd be annoyed if I had a lot of PS1 games and had to buy them again. I recently got my old PS1 back, after having lent it to one of my friends, but I don't have as many games as I remember playing. Thing is though, that both me and my best friend(another friend) had a PS1 and apparently he had most of the games I remember. Unfortunately, he sold it a while back. No matter though, I'll just have to track down the awesome titles again.

It took quite a while to track down a copy of SMT:Nocturne and I ended up finding it last year on Black Friday of all days.I nearly had a nerdgasm in the middle of the store.
I was searching dozens of game stores for a copy of Nocturne until I got extremely lucky. I was in one of my local game stores (privately owned) and just saw it sitting there. A completely mint-condition copy with pristine art, manual, and disk. It even had the OST included (I believe that means that it's a first printing, but I'm not sure). For $20...

Mint copy, of Nocturne, with OST, for $20. I bought that damn thing so fast that I probably violated some FAA laws about low altitude sonic booms...

I know it sounds stupid but i cannot for the life of me find a copy of Modern Warfare 2.

All the places that sell games near me are either

1. Only stock chart games, and even then only the top ten or so
2. Have no pre-owned copies
3. One place is still charging £42.....i shall repeat £42!!!!!F******** QUID!!!!!
4. The only place i know that sells it ( for £8 , no less) is closed by the time i finish work and uni...

I want this game so bad, yet no place has it and if they do, some asshole has reserved it and no one can buy it... fuckers >>
Go here http://www.gamestop.com/ps2/games/rez-used/19459 and click on "Pick up at store." Put in your zip code and it will tell you if any stores in your area have it in stock. Incidentally 4 stores in my area have it, but I've already downloaded it for XBox Live.

Digimon Rumble Arena 2.

I STILL haven't found it!
There been a copy of that at my Gamestop since forever. Been thinking about getting ever since my copy of the first one was broken.

I had a really hard time finding Psychonauts and Metal Gear Solid:Twin Snakes.
I'm STILL trying to get my hands on Persona 4. It was at the Gamestop for a while when I didn't have money. But when I finally had money someone already bought it.
I don't know how much this'll help, but there's copies of persona 4 on play.com(UK). You can get it new for £11.99.

I really want to play Final fantasy VI, preferably the playstation version but damn it's expensive when it pops up on ebay. I've seen the gameboy advance version on play too, but it's £24.99... call me cheap but that's a bit pricey for a GBA game these days.

I was going to say Tombi as well, but luckily I caught a break recently and got it from a guy selling it quite cheap. The price was 20£ or so, maybe a little more, so I was really happy about that.

If you have a PS3, you can get Kula World of PSN, but I'm guessing you don't or you would probably know already.
Dammit, I really want a ps3 now :(
£20 for Tombai is incredibly lucky, I've seen someone fork out 5 times that much. If it came out on the PSN I would probably sell some stuff and go buy a PS3 on the day
I have heard rumours of it coming onto PSN or being remade....

On topic. Rock and roll racing 2: red asphalt, god I want that game so bad! I have played it before but I scratched the holy hell out of it.

I put it in it's case and noticed I could spin it, so I did for a good 5 minutes till I got bored, then took it out only to notice a small stone had been in there aswell ... it looked like somebody had used a gramophone on it, I was heart broken.

No one Lives Forever (1 or 2). I do regret not picking those up back when I saw them originally. Beyond that stuff has mostly come along. The Spellforce expansions have been egregious offenders.

Grandia. I saw it in my local gameshop after years of looking and made that high pitched squeal men can make when excited.

Tales of Vesperia for the XBox 360. I didn't get a copy when it was released because I'd just bought a haul of other things and thought I'd pick it up at a later date. Now I can't find it in any shops and it's selling online for £65+. FFFUUUUUUU.

I spent two months trying to track down a copy of Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, for the gamecube. I scoured all of southern Ontario and eventually found one in Belleville. After 2 months of searching.

Spent three years looking for Persona 3, Persona 4, Ico and Shadow of the Colossus. Then one glorious day, I found a guy trading them in at a second hand shop.

They were in a goddamned four for £10 deal. Those games... They weren't in the shop for five minutes.

A lot of old SNES games I'm looking for are hard to find, or I go to the Flea Market and they charge 100$ or more each.

Games like Mario RPG, Super Metroid, Zelda Link to the Past, Donkey Kong Country 1 2 3 , Mario Paint is probably the worst, Final Fantasy Tactics for the PS1 was hard to find too.
