What is THE level you never cleared or had the hardest time clearing?

Ninja Gaiden 2 (first boss) [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w3-v7mc4_Ss] I found all the other bosses in the game relatively simple, but this one stumped me for ages.

When I was a kid I always was unable to do Pinstripe Potaroo (I think thats his name) on the first crash bandicoot.

Last week I downloaded it on my psp from Playstation Store and I complete the whole game in a day. Curse my Kid-Self for sucking so badly.

I know exactly what you mean. I can't remember exactly what game, but I ditched it because my idiot kid-self couldn't complete a level. And now I finished it no sweat.

I've had the complete opposite experience with Squaresoft's The Bouncer.
When I was younger, I finished that game multiple times. Now i'm older, I got up to fighting Echidna, and I just cbf to finish it again.

Time Splitters 2, robot factory, medium difficulty co-op.

No I'm dead serious. Me and my friend have been trying to get past that freaking level for days straight, never getting even close to finish it. I'm not a bad gamer and he's of the "games nowadays are way too easy" attitude, that level just seems made to be impossible. And what bothers me the most is that it's medium difficulty! I really don't want to see what it's like on hard.

Trust me, you really DON'T want to know how hard, Hard is on Robot Factory.

The later levels of Braid. Haven't finished it. Have no intention of trying to finish it.

I love that game, but I don't intend to finish it for a while as I missed a damn star (the levels 3 one, argghhh!). Now I have to restart the game. Cbf Atm.

Oh, and Metroid Prime: Hunters. Could not find the last key no matter what I did. I swear I searched every level, found both boss rooms in every single on, and simply could not work out which key I was missing. If the menu actually told you which ones were missing instead of just using symbols for each one gained, maybe I could have at least pin-pointed the correct level. I spent at least three hours searching then gave up and sold it.

I've encountered lots of stupidly difficult levels and bosses over the years. The ones that I actually wanted to work through never gave me that much trouble aside from the Water Temple (10 fucking hours of frustration). I know that some people tend to shy away or push it off, but seriously...World of Warcraft...Sunwell Plateau. Six bosses that might as well just be brick walls with death lasers.

The end of the sniper mission on CoD4... Took me ages to do it on Hardened, have yet to complete it on veteran.

Same for me...untill I found the 'spot', where no enemys will find you, just your claymores. Then c4 to clear the landing zone, finished it on veteran before I did it on hardened.

Fighting Kudgel in Donkey Kong Country 2. It seems so simple at first! Just run from side to side and dodge BUT ITS JUST NOT POSSIBLE!

Oh, and the final boss fight in Sly 2: Band of Thieves. In fact, any of the gun turret levels in that game were stupidly difficult, I found.

Amen to that. I don't know how many times I failed those missions.

COD4 the ferris wheel part. took me forever to get it on hardened, yet i got it on veteren 3rd try. i was a total coward tho and hid in a shack the WHOLE time, haha

still can't beat the damn last level tho. DAMN that countdown

The second (of 2 levels) level in evil genius. One time I got quite close but even then it was no good.

Sephiroth (I probably didnt spell that right) boss battle in kingdom hearts. THAT was undeniably difficult. No argument, even if you did beat him it probably taken quite alot of grind.

Call of Duty 4, the epilogue where you have to storm the plane in 60 seconds, still cant beat it after like 75 times trying.

The Cortana level in Halo 3. I died so many times before I eventually made it through...

I'd definitely say that's the worst Halo level ever made.
