What is the longest you have used a single avatar?

I originally had an Aegis Destroyer, then requested some help in getting a good frog avatar.

I had 2 offers, both looked similar and I would swap between both of them every month or so as thanks to both of the artists. After my computer crashed, I lost them and had to download it from the site to have it again. It needs some cleaning up, it has become a little distorted after resizing at some point.
To those of you that are constantly changing your avatar, it is really annoying! I tend to not even look at names of a user (I see the avatar first) unless I'm reading their comment or they are they OP. I think sticking with one avatar (or not changing often) helps you stand out. I love that I can be away from the site for a year and come back and still immediately recognize an avatar and remember that person.

I haven't changed my avatar since I joined (I still have the same one but modified for March Mayhem thanks to Caramel Frappe) so 31 december 2009.
It was either the gif of DJ PON-3 first apperance of the Gala Pinkie Pie acting like a DJ. I know one of those two were the longest since I wanted my next avatar to be another pony loop gif of the new season by it was quite hard to find until the last episode with Queen Chrysalis transformation scene.

As for Color Scientist's comment about the looped Garey Busey avatar, Busey has a face that qualifies as nightmare fuel!
I do like Rogue wolf's wolf, and daystar clarion's amataresu. Anything with dragons if you haven't guessed already.
You might as well be speaking Klingon. I play the Engrish Transrate Plobrem card! I must confess though yours is one I have lost minutes being mesmorized by. I don't know why but some of the motion avatars I just find myself getting distracted by and forget what I was doing, then I realized I just spent 2-3 minutes staring at an avatar.Scarim Coral said:

I've been using Bob Dylan since 2009. It used to be Sean Connery's Bond, but I changed it. It would feel weird changing it. It doesn't go with the "Random" too well when I change it.
I've been using a certain avatar on InsideHoops since 2008, so I've been using a particular avatar for over 6 years.
