What is the meaning of life? It's nothing special really: Try and be nice to people, avoid eating fat, read a good book every now and then, get some walking in, and try and live together in peace and harmony with people of all creeds and nations.

I see no overarching grand meaning of life that would count for everyone. No evidence for that whatsoever. Life in general is just there. As for humans, we tend to give ourselfs a meaning for our personal lives. Simple goals to work for, things that makes living worthwhile for that person. As for me, I haven't given my own life a meaning (yet). I just follow my basic instincts. They're awesome.
Hm, the meaning of life is whatever you make of it.
To me, it would be helping humanity thrive.
Nobody can change the world on their own but if everybody does a little something to contribute to society depending on their personal set of skills, the world'll become better and better.
Self-improvement (and by extension improvement of society) is what life is all about.
